Kris Boyd has hit out at the millions squandered taking his former club into third place in a two horse race.
Most media outlets have been gentle on the Phil Clement Revolution but being forced to sit alongside Chris Sutton every week while Sky Sports viewers revel in his pain is proving too much for Boydy to take.
There weren’t many laughs for him to share last night from Pittodrie, it’s believed that not many gags were flowing in the journey back to Glasgow which didn’t start till almost 11pm, no huddles were offered by mean spirited Chris Sutton.
A nine point gap now exists between the Ibrox Tribute Act and Aberdeen in second place with the signs being that the it will only get bigger.
Clement has been gaslighting for months now about the exciting young team that he is building but after losing at Kilmarnock and Aberdeen even the dumbest of bears know that Their Proper Football Manager has ran out of excuse.
After suffering through the defeat at Pittodrie Boyd hit out with:
Aberdeen built this team on a budget of ÂŁ2m. And what we forget is, they’ve sold their best player. they are miles ahead of Rangers in terms of a structure and work ethic and a desire to go and play. People keep telling me Rangers are cost-cutting? Rangers have spent over ÂŁ10m!
They’ve downgraded in every single position and I don’t care what anybody says. Eight players for the starting 11 (tonight) were already there before Philippe Clement arrived. Eight of the 11. They’ve got what was coming to them.
In the club Accounts until 30 June 2024 there was a note to say that ÂŁ13.4m has been spent since the end of the accounting period with just ÂŁ800,000 brought in from the sale of players.
A further ÂŁ4m has been committed to signing Oscar Cortes next summer, the exciting young winger is expected to resume full training in seven to 10 days, the same timescale has been set for return to action of Ridvan Yilmaz.
Soon after stepping in as Caretake Chairman John Gilligan promised Clement a January war-chest.
Who will be in the home dug out when Celtic visit Ibrox on January 2
Big Phil- he is A Proper Football Manager
Wee Barry- He knows what it is all about
Wee Alex- Biding his time, already in the dug out
MURTY! The only man that knows the job
Bomber- time to restore some traditions and passion
Sir Alex- Bring him home

The interviews on SS were painful to watch. Anyone with a scrap of humanity has to feel sorry for the obvious trauma that Kris is experiencing. And it’s clear the Phil is actually delusional. To see your fellow human beings suffer like that surely has to bring out some sympathy from even the most fanatical opposition supporters.
On the other hand – feck them.
