Adam Idah has his right foot in a Moon Boot but hasn’t been written out of contention for Celtic’s match on Wednesday at home to Dundee.

The striker came off the bench at Motherwell on Sunday to score Celtic’s third goal in the 88th minute then was the victim of a savage attack from Liam Gordon.

Referee David Dickinson initially booked the Motherwell defender but after a VAR review that was upgraded to a red card.

Idah continued to play on after treatment but didn’t have full mobility as Celtic picked up full points to return to the top of the Premiership table.

Callum, we’re just waiting to hear back but we think that’s good news with him. Adam Idah was obviously on the end of a poor challenge, we just have to wait and see with him, he’s still got his foot in a boot but we’re hoping that he’s got away with that.

Cameron Carter-Vickers came in and got some game time which was good for him, he needs to build up that match fitness and Greg Taylor was on the bench, didn’t feature and hopefully a lot of them available for Wednesday and we’ll just see on one or two others.

Rodgers didn’t look very happy during that interview, that could be related to the injuries or other issues.

He will hold a general media conference tomorrow but with a semi-final against Aberdeen on Saturday and Champions League clash with RB Leipzig three days later no chances will be taken on players against Dundee on Wednesday night.
