After four months in charge YB Bern have sacked manager Patrick Rahmen.
It has been a disastrous start to the season for the Swiss champions who have lost heavily to Aston Villa and Barcelona to sit in bottom place in the 36 team Champions League.
Rahmen had only been in charge for four months with a Play Off wins home and away against Galatasaray the highlight.
One win, three draws and five defeats in the Swiss title race alongside the Champions League results has pushed the club into following Dinamo Zagreb by sacking their boss.
Patrick Rahmen is no longer YB manager after just four months in the job. He leaves with the reigning champions bottom of the table.
Inexplicably qualified for the Champions League by beating Galatasaray but a truly dreadful domestic league run (1 win in 9) sealed his fate. https://t.co/SqCzhzl8Qv

Celtic are at home to YB Bern on January 22 in a match that could go a long way to deciding whether the hoops will retain an interest in the Champions League.
While the SPFL plays all through the festive period this season the Swiss League has a break between December 15 and January 18 meaning that YB will have only one competitive match in the five weeks before facing Celtic.
U-21 coach Joël Magnin will take over as interim manager with a match at home to Inter Milan looming on October 23 following a home league match against Luzern.
