Kevin Clancy will referee Celtic for the second time this season when he is in charge of Sunday’s match away to Ross County.

Back in August he refereed the League Cup win at home to Hibs but for a top official he seems to be getting selected increasingly rarely with just one fixture since then, Saturday’s Championship match between Airdrie and Livingston.

Last season Clancy wasn’t given any of the five Glasgow Derby matches.

Nick Walsh will be on VAR duty for the 12 noon kick off in Dingwall as Celtic return to domestic reality following tonight’s Champions League match in Dortmund.

In contrast to Celtic’s 100% start to the season Ross County have picked up seven points from seven matches alongside a League Cup exit to Spartans.

At the weekend they led Hearts until the 96th minute when an equaliser from Lawrence Shankland denied them the points that would have taken them into the top six.

County have survived through the Play Offs over the last two seasons but have made a decent start to the new campaign under Don Cowie.

Apparently sevco are getting £3 million a year out doing Celtics deal an extra £500.000 and all of a sudden they are bragging about cutting the financial gap.
