The promotion at Ibrox of Nils Koppen to Technical Director has been met with waves of abuse from angry fans.
It seems that the club is unable to attract any external candidates for key posts as they shift the chairs on the Titanic.
There is still no sign of a replacement for James Bisgrove who quit as CEO in May with a number of other posts going unfilled.
When John Bennett walked away as Chairman none of the existing Directors offered to step up with John Gilligan talked out of retirement to front things up as a right good Blue-Nose.
Koppen moved to Ibrox in January as Director of Recruitment after being a scout at PSV Eindhoven for five years.
As a fellow Belgian, Koppen is clearly part of Team Kloppen with bears fearing that their failing manager has secured his place even further- or increased the cost of launching a new Revolution!

Asked about the priorities of his new expanded role:
It’s about continuing the work towards January window, that’s quite an important one for the first team. It’s about ensuring the stability in the football department and I think as a very important one making key decisions within the academy to get the right structure in place. As I mentioned before this is a very unique place so by bringing people back with the Rangers background who know what it’s about. I think it’s a quite crucial one moving forward.
Koppen looks suspiciously like Nicky Raskin’s father.
With an AGM coming up in three weeks appointments at this level reinforce the view that second place is the extent of ambitions at Ibrox although that sort of message can’t be made public.
John Gilligan was cleaning out his garden shed 3 months ago, now we have a pishy old pensioner running things, and giving people who have failed better jobs?

What’s next? Alex Rae for CEO?
A club being run into the ground by incompetent auld tit’s who promote mediocrity at every opportunity

May as well put Gazza head of finances while we’re at it

At what point will the fans start boycotting this shambles of a club ?
Treat fans like muck and we let it happen.

What a fucking disgrace. You should all h*ng your heads in shame. You are killing our club.
When will fans wake the fuck up? When will enough finally be enough?
Shambles. I feel sick.

Jobs for the boys. Watch Tav be appointed as next chairman.

Nah …Barry Ferguson’s wife will be in charge of finances …..
Nils Koppen? They’d be better off with his countryman Hans Thruppens.
And the ongoing soap opera takes another hilarious turn for the worst, seriously you canny make this stuff up , and the klabase comments are deliciously hysterical, absolutely lovin it , just when you thought it couldn’t get any funnier, KABOOM.
It really is incredible that the CEO role is still vacant after 5 months.
A qualified outsider might quickly lose interest after looking at the latest RIFC Accounts,
or after an introductory chat with the interim, OAP Chairman?
But, is there not a staunch, qualified applicant out there amongst the bears…?
The club has effectively been in limbo without a CEO.
It’s a wee shame. 🙂
Has he signed any c*nt that’s gonna make them money ?
Must be the only CEO job in football that will COST YOU £10 million – for starters!
Well I guess that puts the kybosh on the recent Daily Retard BS about £6m in compensation being about to land in the Aye Brokes coffers from the Belgian FA, to make Clement their new national team manager (rather than £6m leaving the coffers to sack him). Doubt this guy would be hanging around, even in a new role, if that was the case.
On the new role, what the fuck is a “technical director” anyway? From what he’s saying it’s all about getting things ready for transfer windows, so how is it different from being Head of Recruitment? Which at that shitshow just means coming up with a pie in the sky list of players you know you can’t afford and won’t ever be buying and then handing it to Jangles Jackson at the Retard as a scoop, just to prevent lynchings at the winter AGM or to drum up interest at season ticket renewal time. Then saying you tried your best, but couldn’t sign them as you weren’t going to be held to ransom, or they weren’t Rangers quality/real Rangers men – and then signing up some nobodies with serious bad attitudes and/or injury histories and claiming you beat Real Madrid, Man City and Barcelona to them.
I know there’s some waffle in there about stability of the football department, but that’s Clement’s job, surely? And all that stuff about coming up with a structure for the academy. That’s the Academy Director’s job surely, whenever they get round to replacing the last guy that left that role? Plus, when you’re in desperate need of real appointments, like a CEO, chairman, etc., is giving people already at the club new, but made up, jobs really the priority?
