Kris Boyd has opened up on his fears that rudderless Sevco are drifting further and further away from Celtic.
The smile has been wiped right off the face of the former Kilmarnock striker as he looks on at successive managerial messiahs coming up short when it comes to the crunch of beating Celtic.
A year ago he was fully on board the Phil Clement bandwagon, so much so that he denied praising Micky Beale for his shameless undermining of Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the Ibrox Directors Box.
The Belgian Beale is one domestic defeat away from being sacked but with no CEO, Chairman, Director of Football Operations of Head of Academy the next manager is facing a thankless task with losses for this season likely to exceed £20m.
You only need to look at Rangers finances that were released a few weeks ago as well. It’s all well and good having money coming in, but if you don’t spend it wisely you could end up in trouble.
Celtic are the opposite. Celtic have brought in a lot of money and a lot of their fans will be demanding ‘you have to go and spend that money’ – but it has been built up. I think Celtic have been ran by the head, and when you look at Rangers a lot of it has been run by the heart.
SFA placeman Gordon Duncan hosts The Warm Up podcast which calls on the same round of pundits as legacy media outlets.
While there is a campaign underway to sack Clement the funding for another Revolution just isn’t there which makes Alex Rae and Barry Ferguson serious contenders to be long term caretakers.
That will briefly put a smile on Boyd’s face but another Celtic Park meltdown is scheduled for March.

These two guys are STAUNCH…What more do you need to run Sevco…( into the ground hopefully )…Canny wait.
Only this last week on several occasions I read that certain scoops and mouthpieces were looking forward to theRangers going on a ” spending spree ” in the January transfer window ….as old Frank Barrone would have said , ” Jeeza Lou !”

As for sevco aspiring to replicate our player trading model,
ibrox is many miles and many years behind.
With no Director of Football, scouting structure, decent manager – or money –
maybe they need to lower their expectations?
How about starting with an ‘Academy trading model’?
Set a target of say, half the team must have come through the sevco Academy?
Cheap team, supporters might become more patient / realistic,
and it would steer sevco away from buying overpriced – and overpaid – duds of players?
Not sure though if sevco actually has any time left…?

I am just catching up so started at the 1st post I’d missed, the one about the cheating/assaults/anti-Celtic SFA shit. I’m posting it here (on the latest piece) as a major fault on here is that serious issues get by-passed too quickly due to the volume of editor’s posts. THAT IS NOT A CRITICISM of the writer/editor here as he’s beyond reproach. But it’s true that great points get lost too quickly, like the assaults from Kilmarnock.
Anyway, I strongly advocate getting this guy, Lint (@Zeshankenzo), a high place in Scottish fitba like a Board seat at the biggest, richest club in Scotland albeit run by grotesque wankers from the major shareholder (dictator) via the unscrupulous fat bastard Lawwell to the remainder of the Board. And also a seat within the SFA and SPFL. We fukkin deserve this as we’ve currently fukkin no-one to address our genuine feelings of being cheated, paranoid et cetera. GOOD ON YOU LINT, YOU’RE A STAR.
