With speculation growing that Phil Clement is about to be sacked the underwhelming figure of Connor Barron was put up to defend the manager.
The still to be paid for midfielder had been well drilled for the exercise, questions that touched on the problems that the team is going through were all met with the reply that ‘we’re all on the same page’. Whatever that means.
Ironically a ‘new coach’ was being presented to a local school, unfortunately for the angry bears it was the of the transport rather than tracksuit variety.
At times like this the reassuring figure of the club captain would be reeled out to string the cliches together about how everyone is hurting, how they understand the fans and are all behind the gaffer. Until the next gaffer comes in to give the place a lift with fresh ideas, blah blah blah.

Barron has nothing of value to say, hailed as a superstar in August the Four Month Cycle appears to have struck in much the same way as Todd Cantwell, Nicky Raskin and Mohamed Diomande previously went from hero to zero.
James Tavernier has barely put in a media appearance, after the events of the summer Jack Butland has been the most used player for media conferences.
Having been on the end of a campaign to humiliate him out the club the former Wigan ace is digging in to his contract which runs until May 2026.
There will be another media conference in Nice tomorrow but John Souttar or Butland will be put up for that as the anger builds towards Clement and the board as Celtic drift into the distance, closing in on #title55.

The Daily Record said he roared
Could have been worse
for them if someone decided to interview Ian Durrant for his opinions of theRangers right now .( oops) .Scoop : Well Durranty ,are you for or against Mr Clem-ohn? ID: I’ll let our brilliant board decide..now !Scoop : What do you make of this current theRangers team ?ID : They are doing well …just need a little polishing …now ! Scoop : Great to see you Durranty . ID: Any time ..can you make it cash ….now . He’s got this habit of throwing in the word ‘ now ‘ at the end of a sentence when talking … especially when talking utter bollox …now !
You could say he is going through Barron spell, just like the rest of his team.
That must be some dressing room just now,Tavpen binned to the bench and the captaincy took off him and given to Jackass Butplug.
Players playing a game of chip&toss as to who is facing the cameras and having to go out and try and spin some positives when all I negative.
Everything is so FAKE,it’s like listening to The Donald or the tories MPs that went out every day batting for that other liar Boris the bawbag.
The extra from Deliverance must be next up wee McCausland.
Why has there been no compensation package decided regards Barron .
Could it be that sevco can’t add him to the books till the January window .
I have no idea but the lack of information from Aberdeen ,sevco ,media and the authorities is puzzling.
Can’t for the life of me understand why Lee the imposter knuckle dragger thug Mculloch is anywhere near ibrokes , more renowned for kicking players off the park and
ruining careers than pretending to play football , but then again a reel ranjurz man in his own head , even sevco fans booed him as he rinsed the klub as an ageing hatchetman charlatan.
He’s an utter vile excuse.
That’s why he’s at Liebrox Jim…
To educate the latest lot how to end the Celtic career of a Celtic player and employee…
Thru DELIBERATE injury…
As he successfully did to Beram Kayal !
Yeah, too true. Same with all the knuckle draggers these clowns eulogise about because they’re “real Rainjurz men”. Lee McCulloch, Alex Rae, Barry Ferguson, Ian Ferguson, Ian Black, John Bomber Brown, Kirk Broadfoot…. the list goes on. Common denominator is that they’re all cowardly thugs, trying to pose as hard men from the safety of a football pitch surrounded by cameras, police and officials. The other common denominator, of course, being that they were all absolutely shite.
