Giovanni van Bronckhorst is refusing to resign as Beskitas manager without his severance details being paid out.
According to one Turkish reporter the Dutchman is entitled to €2.2 million while his back-room team are due €1.2 million after just 20 matches in charge. Van Bronckhorst took over as Besiktas manager on July 1 after 20 months on gardening leave from Ibrox.
It seems that a spell in charge of the 2012 Tribute Act is the death knell for a managerial career with Micky Beale (Sunderland), Steven Gerrard (Aston Villa) and now van Bronckhorst lasting an average of seven months in their subsequent jobs.
Pedro Caixinhas continues to float around the worldwide management circuit while Mark Warburton is expected to return to life as a high flying trader in the City of London.
The fail rate of former Ibrox managers is a timely warning to Phil Clement who is expected to be removed before Christmas.

Going into more detail Ogun Sahinoglu explained:
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has a contractual entitlement of €2.2 million in addition to the payments he has received to date. His team also has an entitlement of approximately €1.2 million. Since there is no exit clause, both Giovanni and his team are paid their contractual compensation and their ways are parted.
It seems that Turkish clubs have a strange fascination with the 2022 Europa League runners-up. Ryan Kent had his contract terminated after a year, John Lundstram and Borna Barisic are toiling at Trabzonspor wih van Bronckhorst standing at 20 matches in charge of Besiktas.
Clement signed a new contract that runs until May 2028 but since the 2-1 defeat at Aberdeen last month it has become a question of when rather than if the former Monaco boss is sacked.
