Just when you thought that Saturday couldn’t get much better BBC Scotland came up with the goods.
Prime time Sportscene brought together Steven Naismith and Neil McCann with Mister Personality Steven Thompson leading the mourning.
If Carlsberg did football panels they’d do well to top that trio on a day of absolute joy for Celtic fans. Scott Allan kept his smirk in check alongside two miserable Jambos trying to put on a brave face on a day of carnage.
When the selections were made there would have been some hope in the air that the Clement Revolution! would have narrowed the gap at the top of the SPFL Premiership table.
A home match against Dundee United should have provided a routine three points then sit back and watch Celtic crumble at Fortress Tynecastle to provide some long overdue hope of better times ahead.

It was a rare media appearance from Naismith who ticks all of the boxes for a BBC pundit, where diversity means a former Rangers employee that didn’t get an EBT- or disguised emoluments as the Supreme Court ruled in July 2017.
Thompson and McCann were all in for that scam with the former Dundee boss also falling foul of HMRC over his income from Sky Sports.
In midweek the BBC bandwagon heads off to Nice on Europa League duty, carrying more bodies and expenses claims than any other media outlet thanks to the continuing BBC licence fee.
After that December looks an especially grim month either backing Phil Clement or trying to drum up enthusiasm for the latest Revolution! charged with Stopping Scotland’s most successful club.

Scott Allan is no better a pundit than he was a player but getting to sit there and try to keep a straight face on occasions like that when the monosyllabic Naismith is close to tears must be hard work. I hope they’re paying him well for it…..
I’m only surprised big Thommo never asked TheRangers guests which had the biggest holes and cracks and crumblings ….the Ibroxland stadium ,or theRangers team ? Both have much leakage to mop up in each structure ..that’s for certain .Time for operation ‘ denso tape ‘ ! Make sure you wear gloves ….
