Brendan Rodgers has made six changes to the Celtic side that drew 1-1 with Brugges on Wednesday for today’s SPFL clash with Ross County.
Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Callum McGregor and Daizen Maeda are the only outfield players to survive with the six ‘dropped’ all listed as substitutes.
Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo come into midfield alongside McGregor, Maeda is joined in attack by James Forrest and Adam Idah while Liam Scales and Alex Valle are in the back four.
It is a bold statement by Rodgers but with midweek trips to Aberdeen and Zagreb coming up the hoops boss has to make full use of his squad.
A win today would lift Celtic five points clear of Aberdeen who play Hearts tomorrow before the big two meet at Pittodrie on Wednesday.
County gave Celtic a fright last month when they held a 1-0 half time lead when the sides met in Dingwall but goals from Johnston and Nicolas Kuhn turned the match around.
Calum Scott will referee today’s match with Greg Aitken on VAR duty for the second weekend running.
CELTIC: Schmeichel; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Cales, Valle; McGregor, McCowan, Bernardo; Forrest, Idah, Maeda
SUBS: Sinisalo, Taylor, Trusty, Kyogo, Kuhn, Yang, Engels, Hatate, Ralston

Mare than gd enuf fur 5-0!
Celtic need a midfielder who will take responsibility for making the plays instead of leaving it up to the centre backs.. The second half was diabolical as CV and Scales sauntered about wondering where to pass the ball. As the BBC described it Celtic “cruise” to victory. Great way for the second choices to impress!
I know we won 5-0
While not at the game Charlie I’m glad at 5-0 to an extent it was diabolical as we have a bigger fish to fry on Wednesday then a bigger fish again to fry in Zagreb then a small sprat to fry in Sevco!
