Celtic turned in a five star first half display to sweep Ross County aside to pile the pressure on to Aberdeen.
Callum McGregor was among the five different scorers in the first half as the hoops opened up a five point lead over Aberdeen who are away to Hearts tomorrow before the top two square up at Pittodrie on Wednesday.
The club captain was one of just four outfield players to survive from the Starting XI in midweek against Club Brugge, he took advantage of the opportunity by taking his goal tally to six from 11 SPFL matches.
With all of them coming from outside the penalty box Aberdeen have been well warned what to expect on Wednesday.

Liam Scales, Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo had given Celtic a comfortable lead when McCowan slotted a pass to his captain in the 36th minute. Forty yards from goal McGregor moved forward confidently then arrowed a stunning 30 yard drive past Ross Laidlaw.
Adam Idah sent in another spectacular goal before the break before Laidlaw went off injured in first half stoppage time.
Back up keeper Jack Hamilton pulled off some great saves after the break, Idah and Greg Taylor hit the woodwork but the County goal remained intact through the second period to keep the final scoreline respectable.

Great result today with all those goals shared throughout the team from the defence to the midfield and upfront.
On another matter I see Souness was out in force yesterday or today by pushing it out there, there is nothing between Celtic and Rangers, lol other than 14 points in the league table and £100 million.
Now with advice and opinions from Bamber Gascoigne like that,no wonder he is struggling to get a gig anywhere, and that includes the graveyard at ibrox, not even as the night watchman.
Souness is wrong about nothing between Celtic and ‘Rangers’ –
As ‘Rangers’ are long gone and dead !
