Celtic’s sixth goal against Aberdeen at Hampden was a work of art, finished off by Daizen Maeda who headed home with the match ball.
Nicolas Kuhn had scored the fifth in the 59th minute but with time running out there was a special finale to send the fans home even happier.
Almost every area of the pitch and every outfield player was involved as Aberdeen chased shadows, trying to retain their shape and avoid further damage having long since shed their unbeaten status.

Callum McGregor had four involvements in the goal, highlighting his status as the heartbeat of the side, pushing forward at every opportunity and maintaining the tone of the team, following the dug-out and training ground instructions..
There were some lulls during the passage of play but there is always a probing for weakness in the opposition, eventually it arrived down the Aberdeen left with Maeda, after another epic effort, still on message to follow up and finish the move off.

When I said in an earlier post that playing Hatate was like having “a man short”, I did it to inspire him to play his best game yet and it worked so I am not going to apologise.
The fact I also said we had to treat Aberdeen as a top European side, I did it to lull them into a false sense of security. It worked. Once again no apology.
However I was right in how we needed to unshackle Bernardo, who is our best attacking midfielder, from that stupid “holding” role.
Is there no beginning to my talents!
Another squirrel story out there today apparently a bid is going in for Forrest Whittaker in January.
So that’s Wullie Henderson and Forrest Whittaker on the January transfer list,I wonder who else they can invent for more big DONALD FAKE transfer news.
