Phil Clement has revealed that the vultures are already eyeing up his exciting young stars!
Despite being 14 points behind in a two horse race it seems that clubs all over Europe are preparing to raid Ibrox when the transfer window opens on Wednesday morning.
Setting up a Player Trading Model is a long running aim of the troubled Tribute Act but it is hard to generate interest in serial losers.
Over the last two summers stars like Alfredo Morelos, Kemar Roofe, Ryan Kent, John Lundstram have left as free agents with virtually no interest shown in them even without the need for a transfer fee.
Last summer Connor Goldson, Todd Cantwell, Scott Wright, Robbie McCrorie and Sam Lammers were sold for £810,000 with many of them likely to have been paid off to move on.
Those deals highlighted to all clubs the distressed state of finances at Ibrox and the desperation to get players off the wage bill.
Among the misery of yesterday’s 2-2 draw at Motherwell Clement started to boast about interest in the stars he has managed for 14 months.
6 minutes 15 seconds transfer interest
We knew before the season what project and what challenging project it would be.
On that side, it’s difficult to speak about that because you will not understand and people outside maybe will not understand.
But there has been an evolution made.
The last two games not, for sure not – and we have hurt ourselves in that way.
But there were good games the last couple of weeks where the team showed the potential.
In that way, there are already teams interested in some players for the future, which we didn’t have the last two years.
Rabbi Matondo, Ridvan Yilmaz, Cyriel Dessers, Kieran Dowell, Jose Cifuentes and Ben Davies are all under contract until at least May 2026 as are James Tavernier and Jack Butland.
Clement signed a new contract in August that commits him to the pay roll until May 2028.

Let’s get this right.
Because he is facing the sack for signing such duds, with the serial losers tag attached to them already?
Then another dopey eejit of a manager is going to come along and sign these same duds, and put his own job in danger in return?
Yeah right?
Yet ANOTHER LIE fae the SHIT-DOME! As Wee Fergie wid say in Still Game in relation to Transfer interest from other clubs “NAW YI DIDNY” LOL! Flip Flop is SERIOUSLY DELUDED & like Tavpen Trots oot the SAME SHITE defeat after defeat.. Gie him ANOTHER 2 Yr Extension BAWAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Even if it was true: why even mention other clubs are interested in your players?
…unless you’re trying to drum up interest to sell – because you can only get new players in
AFTER players have left?
And it does sound like Clement signed his new contract with the acceptance that
austerity was the “new project” at ibrox?
Var video advantage ranger’s
FIRE SALE – FIRE SALE – FIRE SALE – FIRE SALE – FIRE SALE !!!!!!!!
Remember when the new (at the time) Ajax manager questioned the reasoning of paying £20m for Bassey, cant see anyone doing that again anytime soon
Editor: Or the £6/8/10m wasted on Nathan Patterson, more Scotland appearances that league starts.
Any scout from a European team, would instantly recognise the ” hoofball” tactics and immediately realise that any proposed transfer be aborted.
Not that I believe any European teams are interested in buying their dross: well maybe Livingstone or Hamilton Accies; geographically, they’re European .
First they issue penny shares by the thousand and now they are trying to drum up interest in players you wouldn’t buy with monopoly money.
Make new Rangers greet again.
Simply the 2nd best.
They immerse themselves in Ibrokes culture and after a year the Unionist virus impregnates their brain so much that the delusions get bigger to the point they are genuinely convinced of the rubbish that Yoon media espouse,,,,,Deludamol Prime required here!
What a load of pish clement comes out with, £2.5 mil a year contracted until 2028 hope he sees out his contract, however the other clowns at ibrox will need to go further into debt to get rid of him, this after giving him an extension to his contract recently. (Inmates running the asylum) at least we can all have a laugh at his comments, and let’s see which manager is daft enough to go for these duds.
