Celtic moved seven points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the SPFL Premiership with a hard fought and well deserved win thanks to a goal from Reo Hatate in the 78th minute.
With a game less played than the Dons the hoops are in a very powerful position with 40 points taken from 14 matches.
It was a grim night in the bleakest of conditions but Celtic stuck to their task, played the only football on show and were rewarded for their patience and persistence.
Brendan Rodgers made four changes to the side that beat Ross County but the half time substitution of Greg Taylor for Alex Valle proved inspired.
With little open to him the former Kilmarnock man chipped a diagonal through to Hatate who took one touch then half volleyed low across Ross Doohan in the Aberdeen goal.
Enormous win for Celtic in wild conditions. Celtic had to earn it. Aberdeen gave it their all and pushed them all the way. Hatate with a stunning winner. Taylor great assist. Carter-Vickers a giant at the back??

The home side had a few half chances through hopeful balls into the penalty box but collecting a late corner was the only time that Kasper Schmeichel was called into action.
On Saturday Celtic host Hibs before a critical double header in the Champions League and the League Cup Final.
Could try and be clever…and ” analyse” the game…But I won’t bother….3 hard earned points…another marker laid down…Onwards and upwards Celtic.
Coming back down the road from Aberdeen with 3 points in those conditions and going 7 points clear with a game in hand on of our closest challengers
That’s going to get completely ignored in the papers isn’t it
