Derek Clark has hit out at the great Car Boot Sale of the summer.
Since July 2021 Deek has been one of the gallant pioneers at the Rangers Review, providing fan media to loyal bears to generate profits for Newsquest while sales of the Herald and Evening Times tank way below 10,000 a day.
Fan media is supposedly independent; tackling the tough areas at their clubs for the benefit of ordinary supporters after decades of succulent lamb and moonbeams.
The Rangers Review has access to all of the senior figures at their club but rather than ask serious questions they are happy to act as messengers for the club in exchange for puff piece ‘interviews’ convincing fans that all is hunky dory.
From the Business Plan to Player Trading everything is going to plan with New Edmiston House a money-spinner while huge clubs wait in the wings to offer massive fees for stars like Nicky Raskin, Jefte, Connor Barron and Rabbi Matondo.
Now and then factual documents have to be published, like the Annual, audited Report as obliged by the Stock Market, revealing the real state of affairs.
Over a month ago it was announced that since year end on June 30 a total of £810,000 had been raised by the ‘sale’ of five players.
But, but, but, but the Rangers Review had gushed about the £2.5m received for Sam Lammers, plus the £1.7m that Cypriot side ARIS Liimassol had somehow discovered to sign Connor Goldson and match his near £40,000 a week wages which was due to run for two more years at Ibrox.
This is crazy. Cantwell, Goldson, Lammers, Wright and McCrorie sold off in car boot sale fashion. https://t.co/knGp1BYHvm

Clearly getting rid of legacy player contracts on bloated wages was vitally important.
It seems like being fed out and out porkies from inside the club has caused Clarkie a bit of a jolt, much like losing £17.2m over 12 months in order to win the League Cup and play second fiddle to Celtic.
With January fast approaching the Rangers Review will soon be back on message passing on whatever they are told without questioning.
The Rangers Review uncovered the exclusive details of the Malik Tillman deal where Bayern Munich paid a fee to Ibrox with a 10% cut in a future transfer fee in return for a year of playing alongside Ryan Kent, John Lundstram and James Tavernier.
A year of EXCLUSIVE content at the Rangers Review is available for just £12.
Thank rangers review for peddling myths for click bait there as culpable as anyone for firing out crap

What a fantastic business model there is at rangers paying millions for players and selling them for far less than what was paid and people wonder why there loosing money

Sorry but that’s nonsense the reported figures at the time of each player was higher than 800,000 what the hell is going on
— John Adams (@JohnAda88452014) December 5, 2024
I mind you lot were going on about 1.7million for goldson another 1.5 for fraud cantwell and so on in truth it was about 160k a man????

The Lammers one sticks out. He’d just scored a bucket of goals in Holland. I’d have been mad only getting 800k for him alone.
