  1. I had thought his injury problems might improve down south with no plastic pitches to play on and a sports science unit at Arsenal which is bound to cost ten times what ours does, but they are arguably worse.

Tierney is an excellent player when fit, but given his wage level in the EPL unless he is prepared to take a huge pay cut to come back it would have to be on a ‘pay per play’ basis at Celtic to make any financial sense. Can’t help but think this speculation is to try and smoke out interest in him from elsewhere.

  2. I’m sure the money KT has been on he could afford to play for Celtic for nowt, the average Joe in the street could retire on the money KT has made ,which he deserved to but how much money are players on in the EPL 100k ,200k per week, some people don’t make 100k for five YEARS work so I’m sure KT could play for nothing.if he really wanted to play for Celtic

  3. Guys pop on to ibrox noise just now read wee Coco the klowns latest article on the refs and the SFA apologising to sevco.
HE HAS TOTALLY LOST THE PLOT,DEFINITELY A COUPLE OF GUYS IN WHITE COATS COMING TO TAKE HIM AWAY.

  4. A nice wee game of TRANSFER BINGO going on at ibrox with the Morrocan Messi, with clubs in the EPL and throughout Europe.

  5. KT is 27, and with his injury record he may only have 1 ‘big’ contract left in him?

If he can get double, treble, quadruple the CFC wages whilst playing for a Championship

    club, then he should?

Per CS comment above, yes, looks like his agent is drumming up any interest for a

    January move or pre-contract?

Don’t think BR would be sentimental in his transfer decision making either…?

    1. Bob ,why would he need a big contract,he’s got more money than any Celtic fans apart from rod Stewart has, how much money do you think he’s earned at arsenal, enough to retire easily,I would think so ,in fact enough that you and I will earn in 50 years as an average tradesman.

  6. Kieran back to us? It’s a difficult one for the obvious (injury) reasons BUT, he’s a Tim, he’s hugely talented with lots of experience, he’d be good for Europe as he’s Scottish and developed by us and he wouldn’t cost a fortune, maybe even free. Well, If Brendan thinks it’s the right move then I’d have to agree……..aye, let it happen. Also, Greg Taylor hasn’t agreed a new deal and much as I like the mhan, he does make mistakes. Valle’s future hasn’t been sorted either as far as I know so it’s becoming more positive from all angles.
BRING THE BHOY HOME! (and fingers crossed re injuries)

  7. Tic toc ,these deals never work mate KT was brilliant for us in his time he chose to leave for big money, fair enough but he was getting big money at Celtic and thought,I’m better than playing for Celtic so off he went ,like Nicholas,Mc Avenny, etc once they go they should never be back , besides it never works anyway.

    1. I understand your point Jim, and agree in part, but I think Kieran is a special case and he’s still only 27/28 so I’d still be very happy to welcome him ‘home’. As ever, time will tell.
I’d be far happier to see some exits tbh, starting with the rats on the board like the Chairman and CEO.
