Kris Boyd held fire for almost 24 hours before letting go of his anger over Celtic’s victory in the League Cup Final.

Celtic winning their 119^th trophy is no laughing matter with Boyd ready to lead a Tuesday morning storming of the SFA to demand answers to the non-penalty controversy.

Boyd didn’t appear on Sky Sports yesterday, he stayed away from Instagram but the call came in from The Sun this afternoon.

He couldn’t hold back with his voice rising in parallel with the levels of anger.

The issue here is that VAR has let John Beaton down. Alan Muir was the VAR and Frank Connor was the assistant VAR. What were they doing?
