After a storming start in his new job with two statements inside nine days it seems that Paddy Stewart has suddenly opted to take a back seat.
The former Manchester United high flyer, according to those on-message, took up the post of CEO the day after the League Cup Final was lost.
Responding to the outrage, corruption and conspiracy allegations across social media being pushed and promoted by fan media outlets Stewart was quickly accepted as he took issue with the SFA.
Criticising the appointment of a match official for a Celtic match earned Stewart hero status but like Phil Clement discovered that status can quickly ebb away.
Within 24 hours of the final whistle at Motherwell the KMI panel of the SFA ruled that Kevin Clancy had wrongly disallowed an own goal from Jack Butland.
No comment from the rangers? Scottish media demanding VAR ref Steven McLean is demoted or relieved of duty? ?@MotherwellFC? should definitely be demanding answers as to why a rangers fan is allowed to VAR rangers games. pic.twitter.com/6q98Fsleuc

Stewart has kept away from the statement machine, there has been no angry words thrown to the bears following the results at St Mirren and Motherwell.
The new CEO will be hoping that his manager can pull off a win against Celtic on Thursday, if it is a defeat hiding won’t really be an option for Stewart as bears demand action.
For months Clement has been protected by the claim that the club can’t afford to sack him, they are now rapidly approaching the point of not being able to afford to keep him in the job.
Losing to Celtic would see actual crowds drop to around 30,000 per match, although there are over 40,000 Season Ticket holders that would still have a significant knock-on effect on matchday income with fans switching off from the exciting young team build by the Belgian Beale.
Plenty of lively banter, discussion and mocking of the afflicted on the latest Trinity Tims podcast, give it a look and subscribe if you want regular content that won’t ever overlap with the succulent mainstream cheerleaders.

No Fuckin Surprise there then – Tho it’s only forty hours since the event 400, 4,000 hours can go by and nothing will be done or said – Rest assured of that…
Where’s Bobby Madhun on it all –
Was it not him that kicked off the cup final lunacy…
Certainly no Sevco players nor Fillipe Fillop seemed too perturbed at the time for sure !
No Statement? Funny that!
Letting Clements do their talking for them!
I see Alan Hansen gets a MBE. Daizen Maeda must be due a Knighthood then?
