No words are really required to explain James Tavernier’s reaction to the introduction of Cyriel Dessers as a late substitute against Spurs on Thursday night.
It could be said that the legendary Hall of Famer was more than disappointed to see the former Cremonese man coming onto the pitch.
A combination of exhaustion and a calf strain saw Hamza Igamane hit the turf in the 75th minute, when the physios decided that he couldn’t carry on Phil Clement had a decision to make.
Leon Balogun, Dujon Sterling and Connor Barron had already been used off the bench, with options limited Clement had no other choice than to send on this season’s top scorer- Dessers.
Turning towards the dug-out the club captain saw the change about to be made, instantly he went to cover his mouth but when he took his hand away no lip reader was required to explain his comments which matched his facial gestures.
???Tav looks a big dessers fan

Dessers came on, in the 85th minute he worked his way into a one-on-one with Fraser Forster but as he did at the height of his powers at Celtic the big ‘keeper pushed the ball round the post.
Tavernier’s outstanding performance against Spurs appears to have put him on the team sheet to face Celtic tomorrow, if Igamane fails to recover from injury Dessers looks like starting the match at Hampden.

Lol so the panel on SSB have sevco back on form and going in the right direction, apparently the quadruple is back on,with the first of the 4 trophies being picked up tomorrow, they are backing sevco to win.
Hopefully I’m listening on Monday – Only If Celtic Win of course !!!!
