John Brown was the star turn at Ibrox yesterday as the broken and demoralised bears were forced into celebrating 125 years of misery at their crumbling stadium.
The veteran rabble rouser can usually be relied on to stir the emotions among the staunchest of the staunch but now robbed of their self-proclaimed title of The World’s Most Successful Club there wasn’t much interaction in the chill of Ibrox in December.

With the previously unheralded number 119 now having the significance of 55 there is increasing evidence that loyal bears are finding ways of avoiding going to visit The Old Lady of Edmiston Drive every other Saturday.
