Kris Boyd has backed off from saying that Phil Clement has to be sacked if his exciting young side lose to Celtic this afternoon.
Barely any Ibrox fans believe that the Belgian Beale can stop Celtic’s domination of Scottish football with the final week of 2024 highlighting the situation that Clement has created.
With most fans expecting to finish today just six points behind Celtic they watched their team pick up just one point out of six away to St Mirren and Motherwell.
Stephen Robinson and Stuart Kettlewell, neither of whom would be contenders to manage at Ibrox, exposed and damaged Clement with neither St Mirren or Motherwell flattered by the results.
Mean while Celtic knocked eight goals past Motherwell and St Johnstone as they continued their relentless march towards #title55.
That number has sustained Boyd and others through the last few years of misery, seeing Celtic fans mocking that number and #goingfor56 in August is the stuff of nightmares.
How to stoapSelik is driving bears to distraction with Boyd knowing that Clement doesn’t form any part of the solution.

There is a lot of Rangers fans said ‘it’s time up already.’ They’re asking why Philippe Clement is still in charge.
When you see what has went on in recent weeks, there is a lot of Rangers fans unhappy and rightly so.
It’s the second of January tomorrow and 14 points at this stage of the season is a huge, huge gap. Considering they’ve only played each other once in the league.
There has been a lot of change at Rangers but you get the feeling there is going to be change coming again.
Patrick Stewart has come in with other people in the hieracrch. They’ve changed things behind the scenes but you can’t get away from football clubs function on the pitch and it has not been good enough.
You can change everything behind the scenes and build from within but on the pitch it needs to be better and you kind of get the feeling that’s where it’s heading if Rangers aren’t to win this game.
With two difficult away games coming up after this, Hibs and Dundee, Rangers’ away form is not good enough.
You kind of get the feeling the Rangers board…it might have to be the football department they’re looking at next.
Clement took over from Micky Beale when Celtic were seven points clear in the SPFL Premiership with Giovanni van Bronckhorst sacked when the gap was nine points.
With a contract running until May 2028 it will be an expensive business to put Clement on gardening leave while the prospect of inheriting his exciting young squad is unlikely to attract a competent manager to the simple brief of stopping Scotland’s most successful ever club.

Ch, Ch Ch Ch Changes – Ch Ch Ch Ch Changes…
Has Void Boyd been up all night repeating a certain David Bowie Song –
He canny even say Changes for ‘Rangers’ either…
Cos ‘Rangers’ are deed as the doh doh !!!
I’d still love to know how they can Financially think about bagging him and his staff…and bring in new faces.
Surely they don’t have that kind of money ?
In fact…Hiv they got any money ?
