Almost as contrived as his team dropping points away from home Phil Clement will come up with excuses to deflect from his failings, mainly pointed at match referees.
The Ibrox boss enjoys the cop out of ‘trusting the VAR’ when it suits him such as when Jack Butland punched an Andy Halliday header into his own net with Kevin Clancy on the pitch and Steven McLean on VAR bailing out the former Crystal Palace reserve.
During the draw with Hibs one decision was allowed to dominate the most match discussion, no one in the media was prepared to ask Clement if he was relieved that Robin Propper and Mohamed Diomande were allowed to stay on the pitch despite TV evidence that they had gone through the ball to injure opponents.
Even Jefte got booked for elbowing Nicolas Kuhn in the face, all incidents would have resulted in red cards had the Laws of the Game been applied.

Zero bookings.

In the first incident Propper follows through from behind to crunch into Martin Boyle just above his left ankle, John Beaton decided to play on, not even a free kick was awarded.
Later in the match Diomande decides on a similar attack on Nicky Cadden, as the ball is played away just innocently follow through and innocently sink your studs into the right ankle of an opponent.
Beaton again waved play on, Clancy on VAR agreed.
After the match Clement is completely unchallenged as he moans about Ianis Hagi giving away a penalty, nothing is put to him about the good fortune of finishing the match with 11 players on the park.

Didn’t hear this klown complaining last week about refs and VAR decisions when the ref and the people on VAR choppedl off 2 perfectly good goals for Motherwell against his shitey team.
Every time they get beat or drop points there’s an excuse somewhere for this BAWVAG.
As for him not being sacked and supporters on radio snyde saying we are stuck with him just give him time, even until the end of next season.
Do you think that the points total can keep getting bigger away from them say 15 to 20 and the fans and the board are going to sit back and watch that, are they F**K.
Season books need to be sold, they ain’t going to sell many or the GULLIBLES ain’t going to purchase them to watch that happen.
Rashford to be presented to the klan at the weekend.
Hopefully as ‘Rash’ a decision as Arran Ramsay was then…
That is if it happens at all –
Don’t The Sevco Hun Hoards always put the word out they’re signing a big name player…
Then again they attend LIEbrox !
Orange cunts. HH
And Hibs said…??
And Hibs said…??
What is life without a little whimsy?
Here goes, I commented recently that some Sevco fans were wishing that the entity hadn’t survived due to the continuous humiliation and the Celtic board would be freaking out most of all.
What price the meeting with Desmond in Ireland recently was about helping them survive?
I swear to the heavens above, I was going to comment before the Ibrox game that Celtic would play the worst game in years but decided not to. The trouble with the result is that it is inexplicable as is the fact that when we went behind Carter-Vickers and Scales were passing the ball to each other as if they were in training and had all the time in the world.
That and the fact Hatate seemed to be playing for the opposition and was kept on for most of the game.
Rodgers has form. Didn’t he play MacGregor at left back against then once and was beaten with people claiming it was to spite Lawwell.
Who has a better explanation?
That’s quite thought provoking Charlie, not sure of the validity but it’s interesting just the same, especially when instead of chasing the game while we were behind by 2 goals ,ccv and scales playing pass the parcel at the back.If you had stated that before the Ibrox game it would have been some talking point, you can never be sure how things work with the Celtic board, denial of the 5 way agreement, Celtic refusing to complain to SFA about treatment of our staff and players at Ibrox and never complained about all those honest mistakes made by the MiB that favoured 1 team only.
