Faced with a defensive injury crisis the Daily Record has reassured their army of elderly readers that a £9m star is on his way to Ibrox.
Rubbing salt into the wounds of a 3-3 draw away to Hibs was the predictable site of Dujon Sterling going off injured in the 70th minute.
The former Chelsea star joins Leon Balogun, John Souttar, James Tavernier and Nana Kasanwirjo on the sidelines despite having their minutes managed by a team of elite Sports Scientists.
Things got so bad away to Hibs that Leon King was drafted on for his first appearance of the season but with gloom all around the Daily Record has come up with a solution.

Philippe Clement is reportedly eyeing a rapid solution to his injury crisis at Rangers – with Ivorian defender Bamo Meite said to be back on the table.
The Ibrox boss lost Dujon Sterling to injury against Hibs and while the extent of his issue is yet to be revealed, it was the latest in the long line of major defensive setbacks. Utility man Sterling was only deployed at centre-back because John Souttar, Leon Baolgun and Neraysho Kasanwirjo were sidelined, leaving Robin Propper as the only senior natural centre-back.
Youngster Leon King was called upon for a rare appearance but Clement will look to the market for reinforcements this month, something he openly admitted back in December even before his injury issues worsened. Reports from France indicate Marseille’s Meite, who was linked back in the summer, is viewed as a possible solution. Telefoot report the defender, who only signed from Lorient permanently in a €10.5m (£8.7m) deal in the summer, is being eyed by the Ibrox side and Montpellier.
It is highly unlikely that ‘Telefoot’ is on the ball with the financial crisis at Ibrox which Scottish publishers refuse to discuss. Even a loan deal is probably out of reach as new CEO Paddy Stewart tries to reduce costs.
The Record has still to inform their army of readers of the £8m of shares issued in December to meet month to month running costs, there was no attempt to frame it as a transfer war-chest to the Belgian waffler.
Clement refused to discuss his January transfer plans after the 3-3 draw with Hibs, instead he told the media that new Stewart would soon be discussing the club’s plans.

The good news is that Murrays Bar and Restaurant plus the Sports Bar upstairs is thriving and open for business.
My take on last Thursday’s performance by Celtic:
1. Alcohol being served outside the ground from early morning.
2. A 3 o’clock kickoff.
3. The possibility of a pitch invasion.
4. No Duty of Care by the Celtic Board when putting their employees in a dangerous and volatile environment.
