The defensive crisis at Ibrox has led Phil Clement to check out Dick King of Jamaican giants Cavalier.
John Souttar, Leon Balogun, James Tavernier and Dujon Sterling will all miss tonight’s match away to Dundee leaving the Belgian Beale relying on Robin Propper and Leon King.
Propper is suspended for Saturday’s match at home to St Johnstone taking Clement down to his bare bones in central defence.
After blasting his way through £13.4m in transfer fees since the club accounts were released on June 30 it is unlikely that there is much if anything left in the war-chest for this month.
Once upon a time the old Rangers would bring in some time served players from Europe to cover for an emergency but it is a sign of the times when they are turning to the Caribbean for a guy that went on loan to Iceland last season.

Rangers are weighing up a move for Jamaican international Richard King as they continue their hunt for a central defender.
The 23-year-old is on the Ibrox transfer radar as technical director Nils Koppen casts his net wide in his bid to unearth talent to bolster Philippe Clement’s squad.
As well as looking for experience, Rangers have made no secret of their desire to bring in young players who can provide success and be sold on for a future profit – with Hamza Igamane a prime example after he was recruited from Morocco in the summer and is now flourishing.
And King is being considered by the Light Blues with the player fitting that profile. The 6ft 2in stopper currently plays for Jamaica Premier League champions Cavalier, although does have experience of Europe after a season-long loan spell for IBV Vestmannaeyjar in Iceland in 2023.
In the past a star name from Italy or France would jet in for a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities at Murray Park then snub late offers from Manchester United and Arsenal to sign a dream contract for Rangers.
These days the Record has been reduced to spinning for Jamaican ace Dick King.

Ah think they should bring in one of their favourite criminals, Dave King and play him at left back. In that way he could keep an ‘eye out’ for the central defence and right back positions as he went about his ‘business’.
