Luis Palma seems certain to leave Celtic this weekend according to reports in Greece and Honduras.
The winger was a 73rd minute substitute against Aston Villa on Wednesday night despite Brendan Rodgers being unable to call on James Forrest or Daizen Maeda.
With Jota also now available to Brendan Rodgers it is clear that the Celtic door is closing on Palma’s Celtic prospects.
The winger arrived from ARIS Salonika in August 2023, quickly made a favourable impression but then fell badly out the picture during 2024.
A move has been widely expected during the January 2025 transfer window with speculation over interest from Spain and the USA but it now seems that a return to Greece is at an advanced stage.
