After the midweek confusion regarding Kyogo Furuhashi ‘joining’ Atlanta United another Celtic related element came into play last night.

US based reporter Tom Bogert, with 87,000 Twitter followers has claimed that Odsonne Edouard is among the strikers that Atalanta United are looking to sign.

Adding a further layer to the tale Ronny Deila is the newly installed Atlanta United manager, getting ridiculous Kenny Miller has bagged a gig as Deila’s assistant.

Edouard is in the final season of his Crystal Palace contract, a loan spell at Leicester City was cut short with the two teams in a season rule meaning that he can’t play for another team this season.

There certainly seems something fishy about the MLS announcing the signing of Kyogo on Wednesday.

The article was quickly deleted but together with Stephen McGowan’s story last month it does add to the speculation that Kyogo could be in the final days of his Celtic career.

Away to Ross County yesterday the Japanese striker demonstrated that there are no issues with his attitude and ability in his fourth year at Celtic.

When considering players surely one of the questions Celtic consider is whether player X/Y/Z can cut it in Dingwall on a frozen day in January.

Adam Idah is currently going through a slump in front of goal but his pedigree is already well established.

Selling Kyogo seems like a complete no-no without an adequate replacement being in the building, replacing the 29-year-old will cost an awful lot more than the £4m paid to Vissel Kobe in July 2021.

Edouard and Kyogo played briefly together in Ange Postecoglou’s first month at Celtic.

All the CHAOS and DRAMA and TRAUMA at ibrox and auld PISHY Spew Heevins decides to write his one and only article of the week on Celtic, what a BITTRR old man.

Idah’s pedigree is already well established? What pedigree is that? A clapped out mongrel that nobody else would offer a home to? We’ll still be trying to convince ourselves he was worth the money when we sell him for a couple of million in 18 months time.

Editor: Phil Clement would have celebrated winning a treble last season if it hadn’t been for the signing of Idah. That is pedigree.

I think it’s time people started realising and saying the truth about Idah. Saying this is a slump is way too kind.

    My views are

    He doesn’t find space

    He doesn’t create space

He is offside way too much

He doesn’t throw his weight about enough

    He waits for the ball

He doesn’t find the correct areas, he’s either playing his own game or doesn’t understand where he should be.

His substitutes (both ways) consistently have a bigger impact than him

It’s time we faced the truth. Giakoumakis was an impact player Idah is not even close to the mark and in my opinion Norwich are dining out on our desperations.

Sad but I can’t ignore what’s Infront of my face.
