The Rangers Supporters Association has called for the sacking of Phil Clement as manager of their club.
Formed in 1946 the RSA is about as staunch as it comes, it takes a lot to push them into action but the consequences of the 1-1 draw at Dundee crossed a line.
There seems to be an almost universal demand for Clement to be sacked but also a similar realisation that the club won’t, or can’t afford to sack the Belgian Waffler.
This is a time for real leadership from our new Chairman and Chief Executive. Perhaps also some of our more long standing board members/investors also reflect on their role in relation to the club’s current position on and off the park.

A nine point deficit led to the sacking of Giovanni van Bronckhorst, seven points did it for Micky Beale with angry bears waking up this morning to a 15 point gap to Celtic.
If the hoops win at Ross County on Saturday Clement’s exciting young side will kick off on Sunday against St Johnstone 18 points behind.
At that point bears have to decide between staunch points in trusting their club or face up to reality and protest for change.
In season 2014/15 the fans campaigned to remove the board, Dave King came to the rescue to usher in an era of three trophy wins in a decade.
There is no suggestion of a takeover being put together which puts recently installed CEO Paddy Stewart in the firing line with the manager.
If Clement continues in the job it will say more about the new CEO than the waffling excuse machine from Belgium.
Where is the Star Trek man in all of this, doing a Lord Lucan if you ask me.
Ask Lord Lucan-Nicholson – His twin ‘Brother’ !
It surely must be statement o’clock time and a special guest star appearance from none other than the CHISLER himself,Dave King.
Kojak has been sacked, apparently the board got word of a protest tonight that will take place at 6.pm. outside the stadium, they have sacked him to stop the protest taking place.
I asked if it could get any worse…Looks as if it has…Another event not far away..??Happy happy days…
I know he’s Jean-Luc Picard and not James T. Kirk, but this is like that Kobayashi Maru test for their intrepid CEO who must boldly go and decide whether to sack him now but leave his replacement devoid of funds to buy players thus working with existing squad of duds, or leave the useless c@nt in post until the place is half-empty every week and the already toxic fanbase is dangerously mutinous. Of course Kirk would find A Third Way – like sacking Clement for an unspecified ‘breach of club discipline’ leaving him to take them to court for the remainder of his contract and thus kicking the can for compensation down the road for 18 months…..
Stoap gie’n them ideas Captain…:)
I’m sure the iBrox CEO reads this blog daily to inform his tactical and strategic approach to finding The Way Forward for the mighty glesca rainjurzz!
To be fair, I expect there is probably far more sense talked here than there is in The Blue Room…..
Bigfoot must stay !!! don’t go mr bigfoot !!! don’t gooooooooooooooooooooh !!!! chortle Big foot is toast clearly , whats in play now is how do they get the S B monies in and keeping the mongo’s happy at the same time , if they go to early and bring in someone who doesn’t fit the bill the knuckle draggers may not cough up the vitally needed reddies , one way is to keep him in place as long as possible replacing him with dumb and dumber nearer renewal time , promising the klan jam tomorrow with new manager talks being held and don’t forget to support your club and show your faith by renewing yer S B s and we’ll turn the corner next season .
twas great to see the mongo’s last night in meltdown !! their bouncing was short lived !!! chortle !!!
Sourness to advise on the new manager.
I jumped on to Ibrox noise there for a laugh but wee Coco the klown that writes it is on a Sponsored silence, nowhere to seen or heard.
He’s probably still dejectedly staring into the river from the Tay Bridge, wondering if it’s all worth the grief….
Kirk passed the Kobayashi Maru test by cheating !
Lord Lucan is alive and well(aka wee Coco the klown at ibrox noise)he has just posted that sevco are in negotiations with Johnnybag Evans And Grant Hanley both with a combined age of about 80,to rescue their defensive crisis.
The young guys that can run all day will take the piss out of these 2 FUDS should they sign for the klan klub.
Who cares?
Your point is.
That’s amazing how Kojak and the klan board aren’t screaming for explanations as to why Dundee didn’t get that penalty awarded last night,or how Motherwell got those 2 goals chopped off for mo reason.
And yet had these decisions gone against sevco, they would have Donald Finlay on the case immediately.
The delicious irony is that Lord “Lucanfor” Nimmo declared that having more money does not give you a sporting advantage.
Not related to above but just noticed this;
The darts association PDC has signed a 5 year deal with Sky for £25M a year.
The current SPFL TV deal – also with Sky – is for 5 years and worth £30M a year.
Currently, Scottish footy [currently] is marginally more valuable to Sky than the darts?
