Brendan Rodgers has gone with the same side that beat St Mirren 3-0 on Sunday for tonight’s match against Dundee United.

The Celtic squad has generally been rotated through the recent glut of fixtures but tonight it is same again as the hoops look to go 16 points clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership.

After the weekend controversy there was little doubt that Greg Taylor would start, the former Kilmarnock defender makes his 200th appearance since his August 2019 switch from Ayrshire.

Following the defeat at Ibrox multiple questions were asked of the Celtic side, tonight they will be looking for quick revenge on a side that they drew 0-0 with just before Christmas.

It will be a freezing night in Glasgow but full points will turn up the heat across the city with Phil Clement’s side away to Dundee tomorrow.

Kevin Clancy will referee tonight’s match, Celtic are next in action on Saturday when they are away to Ross County.

CELTIC: Schmeichel; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Taylor; McGregor, McCowan, Engels; Kuhn, Idah, Maeda

SUBS: Sinisalo, Scales, Palma, Kyogo, Valle, Yang, Bernardo, Hatate, Ralston
