Brendan Rodgers has made four changes to the side that lost in Thursday’s Glasgow Derby for today’s match at home to St Mirren.

Liam Scales, Reo Hatate, Paulo Bernardo and Kyogo Furuhashi drop out with changes to every area of the team.

Auston Trusty comes into defence, Luke McCowan and Arne Engels to the midfield with Adam Idah in as centre forward.

The defeat at Ibrox was Celtic’s first domestic set-back since March with the spotlight on the players and management to bounce back quickly.

January has a packed schedule of fixtures with Celtic back in action on Wednesday at home to Dundee United.

With Phil Clement’s side drawing 3-3 at Hibs in the 12 noon kick-off a win for the hoops today would put them 13 points ahead with 20 matches played in the SPFL campaign.

CELTIC: Schmeichel; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Taylor; McGregor, Engels, McCowan; Kuhn, Idah, Maeda

SUBS Sinisalo, Scales, Palma, Kyogo, Yang, Bernardo, Hatate, Ralston

    Off topic for a minute…
Just watched Hibs give Sevco a big fright at Easter Road…
After 20 minutes it looked as if Sevco would walk away with it…but credit Hibs …they fought back to get a draw…and might even have won it with a bit of luck.
Main thing for us ‘though is…get the 3 points today and extend that gap again.
    ‘Mon The Hoops.

Do we need a more robust and physical player if hatate plays? The rangers bullied us last week. Hibs did to rangers in the second half what the Hun did to us. Three words some up the modus operandi in the modern game when moving the ball: early early early

I don’t think Kuhn and Daizen deserve their place…they were seriously crap against Sevco.
If our excuse is …we’ve nobody else in those positions…well that’s no very clever …is it ?

Saint Nicholas on the ball again!
