Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to the Celtic side that beat Ross County for tonight’s trip to Dundee.
Greg Taylor replaces Alex Valle at left-back with Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo coming in for Reo Hatate and Arne Engels.
After missing the last two matches through injury Nicolas Kuhn returns with a place on the bench where he is joined by Luis Palma who was the subject of interest at the weekend from Rayo Vallencano.
A win tonight would put Celtic 18 points clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership which takes a slight back seat after tonight with attention switching to Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup and YB Bern in the Champions League.
Back in October Celtic beat Dundee 2-0 at home with two second half goals, last week Tony Docherty’s team drew 1-1 at home with Phil Clement’s side.
CELTIC: Schmeichel; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Taylor;McGregor, Bernardo, McCowan; Yang, Kyogo, Idah
SUBS Sinisalo, Scales, Palma, Kuhn, Valle, Kenny, Engels, Hatate, Ralston
Big night for Idah tonight…
I think Adam gets a Hat-Trick tonight…
Or at the very least – A Double !!!
Oh to actual Fuck…
Just how WRONG – WRONG – WRONG – was aye !
Going to be good to see Luke and Paulo playing together.
Yang is definitely getting better with each game and two strikers as well.
COYBIG!
Sevco to receive another windfall when Cerny returns to his parent club in the Summer as West Ham are ready to sign him.
Apparently it’s the same set up as sevco had with Bayern regarding Tillman, that auld favourite a sell on clause, for a player that has Jackshit to do with them.
That’s the luckiest point we’ll earn all season…And if the truth be told…Dundee deserved to win the game…We need to take a long hard look at ourselves…’cos what we’re serving up aint good enough…Too predictable…and opposing Managers know it…Over to you BR.
I thought we looked refreshed for around the 1st 25 mins then backed off. We got an early goal out of nothing really albeit a terrific ball in from Greg taylor and a super header from Luke McCowan. But we didn’t capitalise. 2nd half Dundee came out fighting and we buckled, it was absolutely awful to see. Trusty fell apart, Hatate came on and offered nothing but errors and Valle similar. And Engels? but for a fortunate penalty, though it WAS a penalty, he added absolutely nothing. Fukkin grim. We’ve got a huge game at CP next week vs Young Boys and we absolutely need a victory. Well we’re going to need SOME improvement. 2nd half tonight was just about as bad as the whole of the new huns game on 2nd January. At this moment in time it’s difficult to feel positive.
I’m now wary about Kilmarnock and McInnes and his hammer throwers rocking up to Parkhead on Saturday and roughing us up – We Simply don’t cope well with it at all…
Thank Fuck it’s not on the plastic pitch for sure –
After Saturday I’ll start to feel nervously stomach knotted about Young Boys Berne !
Thing is Clach just about every team in the League can assault us and the MIB do nothing to protect us, just like our Chairman and CEO, a pair of disgusting turds.
But last night was self-inflicted by bottling it all over the park, fukkin snowflakes more or less to a man. I just can’t figure it out but 2nd half last night and the new huns game on the 2nd were and are an utter disgrace. No happy-clapping from me, I just call it as I see it.
Kyogo needs to be in middle. Idah offers nowt. Valle left back and Taylor playing Maeda role.McGregor to deep. Are we not allowed to have a shot outside box. Fck this toy tappy stuff. Gets nowhere
