Phil Clement has claimed that the Ibrox board are 200% behind him!
Despite beating Celtic eight days ago the waffling Ibrox boss is under more pressure than ever after following the freak showing in the Derby match with draws against Hibs and Dundee.
Against Hibs Clement’s exciting young side were 2-0 and 3-2 in front before being held to a draw, last night the Belgian left the pitch at Dens Park to loud chants of ‘Clement, Clement Get Tae F**k’ from the loyal bears that stayed till the end.
On the eve of a new season the Ibrox board gave Clement a new contract, one that runs until 2028 but it is looking harder and harder to justify that decision.
Paddy Stewart started as CEO on December 16, with the manager having a record of two wins in nine matches swift action is being demanded by supporters.
Even the Scottish media couldn’t ignore the full time chants at Dens Park, asked if he felt that he still had the backing of the board Clement told The Sun:
Yes, two hundred percent. Every day we have talks about everything, about January, next season, everything.
Yes of course they [the fans] are unhappy today, all of us are unhappy to lose these three points.
I didn’t hear that but I know I’m the face of the team, that’s part of the job.
The supporters are behind us when we are good, when we play good games. Today wasn’t a good game so I understand it
And on he waffled.
Over the last week Clement has deflected questions about transfer activity by claiming that Stewart will speak to the media ‘in a few days’
The transfer war-chest is no longer the pressing issue with rank and file fans screaming for Clement to be sacked and protests planned for Sunday’s match at home to St Johnstone.
If Stewart doesn’t act soon he will be viewed as part of the problem- less than a month after climbing up the marble staircase for his initiation ceremony.
The Blue Room is bare.

Why did this lot beat us so easy?
Because Lawwell’s dream of a Lazarus return of the O** F*** won’t die as it (O** F***) did?
Stewart should get out the capciacin spray and give the angry bears a good spray.
Real Ibrox was stalemate with Celtic in the League Cup after extra time and
beat Celtic in the Premiership Derby. Their own team has talent. The Fans and the Ibrox bent Pundits, know that Real Ibrox find it difficult to win away games. Why the difference.
Greg Norman won the 1993 British Open with near faultless rounds. He was so pleased,
he told Journalists “I was in awe of myself, out there today”. Out of body experience?
Later, Greg said he should not have said that. Three years later in the lead up to the US Masters, Greg was playing poorly at around 140 + ranking in the tour. He had to make small adjustments to his stance and swing. Going into the final round he was 6 strokes ahead of the field. The night before teeing off, he bumped into someone and felt he had
to be sociable. That night he thought about a possible relapse, back to his recent form.
He was unable to sleep. There was tension in his play. If it’s warm you sweat more.
Your heart rate increases. Yips etc. Nick Faldo won and said, “It was painful to watch”.
Someone should ask a few questions to Real Ibrox players.
Can you isolate the superfluous “noise” surrounding you, that may be affecting your game/team game? For example, are the angry Bears creating tension in the Players mind and so on. Are you getting enough sleep? Philip can sit in the corner, be quite and take notes.
Yep and trust me Fillipe Fillop in that supporters of all other teams in The Premier League back ya 200% as well…
In fact 200% fuckin plus plus !!!
Blue on blue, it’s always brilliant to see ,especially with some popcorn, HE,HE.
Wow , the disappointment and dejection is palpable from the SMSM scoops after the latest in a series of dropped points by their pet project favourite clumpany ..theRangers . It’s strange because one of the most loyal scoops from the mass ( oopsie daisy ) , typing pool – wee Scotty – of the Record declared that big Pip will stay in his job until the end of the season ! Too much Blue Nun vino and choccy doughnuts over the festive period methinks….
