Loyal bears piled into Everything, Anything as they watched their heroes draw 1-1 away to Dundee last night.
That result leaves Phil Clement’s exciting young side trailing Celtic by 15 points in the SPFL Premiership just a week after he won his first ever Glasgow Derby.
Following that up with draws against Hibs and Dundee has underlined how soft and vulnerable Clenent’s side is with the draw at Dens Park the stage of no return for many fans.
Paddy Stewart took up the salary of CEO on December 16, if Clement is still manager of January 16 the former Manchester United low achiever will be viewed as part of the problem.
At his last three media conferences Clement has told reporters that Stewart will address the plan for the January transfer window at a still to be announced media conference.
The big question is now when the Belgian Waffler will be sacked rather than how big will his war-chest be.
The usual excuses about injuries were trotted out last night but Dundee were without six first team players and were only able to name seven substitutes.
Clement was able to name Cyriel Dessers and Danilo as substitutes, two strikers that cost the club £10m.
An intensive effort is now likely to remove players from the club but after raising just £810,000 from shifting five serial losers last summer a similar move is unlikely to be a money spinner.
Alex Rae and Barry Ferguson won’t be straying far from their phones today, this morning their brogues will be getting an extra polish just in case.

I do have a wee bit of sympathy for Stewart: he’s just in the door.
IF he does break cover, it could be an extremely soft ‘interview’ with Sevco TV,
and he’ll not say very much?
Or, if he’s got any sense, he’s ‘beamed up’ already to somewhere else?
