Auston Trusty marked his return to the Celtic side with his first goal for the hoops, heading home the second in the 3-0 win over St Mirren.
An in-swinging corner from Arne Engels in the 43rd minute was met with a glancing header from six yards out before Trusty ran over to celebrate with the Green Brigade.
Liam Scales was one of four players that dropped out of the side that lost 3-0 at Ibrox with Brendan Rodgers making changes in every area following the first domestic defeat of the season.
Trusty joined Cameron Carter-Vickers in central defence, Luke McCowan and Engels came into the midfield with Adam Idah replacing Kyogo Furuhashi in attack.
After a lively opening five minutes failed to bring a goal a nervousness set in with the team and fans as they waited for the breakthrough, once again it came from Nicolas Kuhn.
A quick break down the left resulted in Daizen Maeda setting up the former Rpid Vienna winger who finished with style behind Saints goalkeeper Zach Hemming.

Celtic dominated the second half but had to rely on a mix up in the Saints defence for Kuhn to score his second in the 68th minute, securing full points to go 13 clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership table.
On Wednesday the hoops can extend that gap by beating Dundee United as they march towards the title, putting the defeat at Ibrox further into the past.
