BBC Scotland had an interesting choice of pundit at Celtic Park for the visit of Dundee.

Lee Miller isn’t just any old former player waiting to share thoughts and opinions, he is the Dad of the most promising young player in the Scottish game.

Lennon is currently out injured but at the age of 18 he has more than 50 competitive appearances to his name and has captained Motherwell in a national cup semi-final.

There has been speculation of interest from Celtic, he did spend time in the Celtic Academy but switched to Motherwell with the guidance of his Dad who played for a handful of SPFL Premiership clubs in the Noughties while picking up three Scotland caps, he knows the business.

There seems to be strong Italian interest in the Motherwell midfielder, with his contract expiring in May 2026 this summer will be decision time, a record fee, beyond the £3m for David Turnbull is expected.

Should Celtic come up with an agreeable offer a big decision has to be made by Father and Son- can regular first team football be achieved quicker at Celtic or elsewhere?

Judging by Lee’s comments last night there is a lot he admires about Celtic but whether his son will be part of next season’s plans remains unanswered.

One of the best goals I’ve ever seen

The thing that frightens me, he [Daizen Maeda] never looks tired.

He is a defender’s nightmare. I do not know where he gets the energy from.

That goal he scored tonight [his second, chipping Trevor Carson], that’s one of the best goals I’ve seen.

The finish is top drawer.

I felt sorry for Trevor Carson tonight; the finishes were top, top-drawer. They were phenomenal.

Dundee weren’t that bad

I don’t think they’ll even go through that game tonight.

Any time Scotland, never mind Scotland, in Europe, to come here when they’re [Celtic] on it they can smash any team.

Dundee, and it’s hard to say when you lose 6-0, but they weren’t actually that bad. Their shape in the first half was okay, they limited Celtic to very few clear-cut chances and they lost a goal bang on half time.

In the second half, Celtic upped it again and were devastating.

I just felt really bad for Dundee and especially Trevor Carson.

Lennon is expected to be back playing later this month, Stuart Kettlewell has left Motherwell since his last appearance, it seems inevitable that Miller Jnr is in the final stages of his career in Lanarkshire.

Perfect case of a The Double Edged Sword here…

Lee would LOVE to have his Bhoy learn from anyone in that team last night –

But how the hell would he ever dislodge anyone from that said team any time soon…

Hope he might consider the name he chose to call his lad if any pretenders to the throne appear on the seen from a new football club that as of today are 12 years and 192 days old !

Lol at the transfer talk at the daily sevco today with their very own TRANSFER GURU,yes thats how they described Scott Burbs over there today.
Fat Burns(pardon the pun) was boasting about how sevco came close to bringing in a number of players in January and especially a winger,2 chances none and fuck all.

Pure comedy gold tv from him,now all sevco fans have to do is wait until the Summer and the klub will be bringing in plenty of more signings then, the thing is Fat Burns contradicts himself in saying sevco coukd not afford the fee for the winger mentioned as the players club wanted a fee for the player now for him to go to sevco rather than hold off until the Summer when the player will leave for free.

Ah the auld SKINTO FC strike again,it must statement o’clock time again for another CONFETTI SHARE ISSUE,watch this space.

All that talk of EPL clubs hunting down sevco players only for them to end up with the middle of a doughnut.
Now all the players linked with leaving sevco are all happy stay, and never wanted to leave in the first place due to their loyalty to the klub.
