In complete denial of recent events Ibrox fans have been seeking reassurance that their ailing club is the most popular in Scotland.
A dubious search map from seven years ago is providing proof of the FACTS! while all around them they see further evidence of Celtic’s success in terms of trophies, fans and anything else meaningful.
The map is apparently based on Google searches, prompted by questions such as:
When did Rangers die?
Why did Rangers die?
When did Rangers go into administration?
What happened to Rangers players when the club died?
When did Rangers go into liquidation?
Those sort of issues are carefully avoided by legacy media, thankfully social media has all of those answers with today’s a special day for all Internet Bampots as they pause to thank Craig Whyte and recall what they were doing on 14 February 2012 when the glorious news emerged from Edinburgh.
Typical of those deep in denial is robbo89 who seems to inhabit a world that is simply hoaching with bears, it seems that all around Glasgow town and villages are just jumping with bears showing their colours and support even though no-one under 30 has been able to toast a title success in a pub by legally drinking alcohol.
The growth of Irish pubs suggests that the Blue Pound is on the decline with celebrating Celts now the target market for those in the hospitality business.
The reality is that over the last seven decades only the nineties hasn’t been dominated by Celtic.
The upshot of all that is that in virtually every area of the country Celtic are more popular than their 2012 rivals.
Obviously in Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh the local teams are the most popular, after that in each of those cities there is a visible and clear Celtic support.
Other than hard core bears, deep in denial, support for the Ibrox Tribute Act is being wiped out across Scotland other than traditional heartlands such as Kilwinning, Larkhall, Bridgeton and Bearsden.
Since 1998 Celtic Park has housed 10,000 more supporters than Ibrox, that factor has now been in play for the best part of two generations and is recognised by far superior commercial deals highlighted by the Adidas contract that is about to be renewed on improved terms.
Primary school age kids are easily influenced, over the last week they’ve watched one Glasgow side beaten at home by Queens Park and another facing upto Bayern Munich led by Harry Kane.
Kids interested in football are as likely to follow and support Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid and Celtic, very very few are going to own up to supporting Phil Clement and his exciting young team.
By the time that summer comes around there is a strong chance that Celtic will be celebrating a sixth treble in nine seasons.
After winning trophy 119 before Christmas there is nothing for bears left to hold onto, with each passing trophy success it is more than just Glasgow that is Green and White.

The gift that keeps on giving??.
Know your place Sevco.??
The incompetent have to justify their position by living in a world of make believe!
Maybe the SMSM will call out the claim ? Inaction of the Daily Record using his ‘ column ‘ to question this fake news . Wee Billy Leckie of the Sun newspaper , forensically examining the statement , demanding an apology ? Or BBC Scotland TV or radio interviewing ‘ experts ‘ about their ‘ thoughts ‘ on the ‘ alternative fact ? ‘ Maybe they could bring in Ian Maxwell – the games’ head bummer to clarify the situation ? If anybody knows the craic …. it’ll be him ? Don’t hold your breath !
I’ve read that article and every response and it ain’t pleasant reading for the original poster (Robbo 89)…
Most comments shoot him down in flames and acknowledge honestly enough that Celtic are ahead in every single thing that is possible…
It’s definitely worth a schadenfreude read for sure –
Happy Valentines Day and Happy Administration Day !!!
Didn’t know Bearsden was a hun hole. Are you sure?
People there are generally aspirant middle class, with little evidence of your average zombie knuckle dragger as seen around Scottish football grounds at weekends.
Maybe a few worshipful master polis men right enough.
Nail on head ….
I’m fed up listening to everyone talking about how many Sevco fans in Kilwinning,5 Buses leave Saltcoats every Saturday or Wednesday for midweek games,we also have a Irvine
Celtic Social Club in Irvine, with a very healthy
Membership
That’s what most of the replies to that guy were about Charlie…
In their eyes we are EVERYWHERE !
Even at ma bit they are outnumbered now…
The old ones of ‘them’ have been replaced by affluent English folks looking for a bit of Scottish Lochs n’ Glens and embracing it and supporting their local English teams – Those that are into footy that is…
In saying that it’s not all bad as English folks that I know and have settled here from Swindon, Huddersfield, Rotherham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Nottingham, Sunderland and Bristol are a damn sight more pleasant, more mature, more forward thinking and more embracing than The Scottish Sevco Huns were – especially when they were a group together in the mixed bars !
Nothing wrong in trying to stay positive and being confident about your team, whatever you need to do to get you through each day… in saying that, growing up in the Gorbals, I only met 2 Huns….even though that hun hole the Glaswegian was on the periphery of the Gorbals
alas Robbo89 truly is well known for being a massive member.
As the banner at the last ever ‘Old Firm match’ in 2012 memorably said
“YOUR GRANDCHILDREN WILL BE CELTIC FANS”
Oh, how they howled their derision, “Never!” “Nae Chance!” and “No Surrender!” etc, but it is as certain as night following day. Football history is littered with clubs who made bad decisions and failed to keep up with the times losing their way, nothing makes Sevco or its predecessor any more ‘special’ than other formerly successful clubs. The state they are in now is likely to be permanent unless Celtic’s board try to copy the example set by the original iBrox club.
Do they still sing simply the best?
The post put up here from a sevco fans blog site or whatever it was, they are definitely guys that went to school in the grey bus all thosevyears ago.
It’s there in black and white for the klan to see and read, but they keep doing a Trumpty Dumpty by denying it all.
It just reeks of desparation to be honest…they’re best left to their delusions of inadequency!
The zombie is probably using the last census for details on declared religion in Scotland ,and using the fact that there are more protestants than Catholics to falsely equate this as more Sevco fans than Celts.
Which is ludicrous. I for example was raised as a protestant Rangers fan but came to my senses when I grew up and am now a die hard Celtic fan and always will be.
Joe they’re not even the most successful in Govan, I think Harmony Row would claim that distinction too ???
