Following the lead from the Green Brigade fans of CA Osasuna and Cork City decided to SHOW ISRAEL THE RED CARD.
Late on during Celtic’s Champions League match with Bayern Munich the Green Brigade unfurled a huge banner which was accompanied by a red card protest from thousands of supporters.
The television cameras refused to show the protest but through social media images and video clips went viral.
Now fans of other clubs are picking up the torch to show their opposition to Israel whose clubs have competed in UEFA competitions since 1992 with their national team included in UEFA qualifying competitions since the 1982 World Cup.
UEFA are expected to hit Celtic with a fine for the fan protest but there is very little that the authorities can do to prevent red card protests from supporters.

In 2016 UEFA fined Celtic £8,616 for thousands of fans flying Palestine flags during a Champions League qualifier against Hapoel Be-er Sheva.
A worldwide appeal raised more than £130,000 to pay the fine with the remaining money donated to charitable projects across Palestine as the UEFA action backfired spectacularly.

Well done those clubs!
Gathering momentum then…
That said – I think if Celtic are fined the flag bearers should be paying it !
Brilliant ?, keep it going
Bravo well done truth prevails
