Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to the side that started against Hibs on Saturday for tonight’s match at home to Aberdeen.
Jota, Jeff Schlupp and Reo Hatate, half-time substitutes at Easter Road are in from the start, restoring the side that started away to Bayern Munich last week.
It certainly feels as if this is Rodgers’ preferred side with tonight the final midweek match until May.
Despite Saturday’s defeat Celtic retained their 13 point lead at the top of the table with 11 matches left to play.
Luke McCowan and Adam Idah drop to the bench, Greg Taylor is missing with his wife in labour as Celtic go looking to make up for their 2-2 draw against Aberdeen in October- the only goals conceded and points dropped at home all season.
Aberdeen have won their last three matches but will be wary that they lost 6-0 to the hoops in their last Glasgow clash, at Hampden in the League Cup semi-final.
John Beaton will referee his third Celtic match of the season tonight with Greg Aitken on VAR duty.
CELTIC: Schmeichel; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Schlupp; McGregor, Engels, Hatate; Kuhn, Maeda, Jota
