Who can resist a second look at cheery wholesome video content of a father dishing out a treat or two to the kids?

On Saturday night Celtic fans went all emotional as Daizen Maeda took his two kids to work, most of the Raith Rovers players stopped to high-five the toddlers before Daddy smashed a hat-trick in as Celtic won 5-0 to progress into the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.

Maeda wasn’t the only big-hearted Dad around on Saturday night, somewhere out there Billy was lining up a special treat for his three kids- and their grand-parents.

FIVE tickets were purchased for the big match, a first ever trip for the three kids, also for granny although Granda Billy has probably been along a few times to watch the Tribute Act bring misery and anger to thousands of bears.

The beauty of sport is in its unpredictability, anything can happen when you buy a ticket. Hamza Igamane could score a hat-trick or James Tavernier could miss a penalty- who knows.

Thanks to social media, to that heart warming video clip the kids have a lasting memory of their first trip to Ibrox even if it is one that Dad would rather forget, maybe a trip to the sea-side or the park will be a safer bet the next time that treats are being handed out.
