Discussing high finance on Super Scoreboard with Gordon Dalziel and Mark Wilson was never going to be a simple task.

Gordon Duncan probably had the fear somewhere at the back of his mind but one that the bleep button wouldn’t be able to cut out from going live.

Ibrox fans have never been comfortable with numbers whether it is filling in Income Tax Returns or establishing the difference between 1 and 55.

With the excitement of Takeover talk filling the air Matt in Pollok decided to share his feelings with the Thursday panel on SSB, it didn’t start very well with Gordon Dalziel especially responsive.

The Daily Record and other messengers have been feeding Matt and other bears tales about the San Francisco 49ers but have been strangely reluctant to approach the NFL club for a comment on their prospective soccer partners.

Perhaps someone has decided that being a feeder club to Leeds United isn’t sexy enough so it has been dressed up as a takeover from the San Francisco 49ers to ensure that bears like Matt renew their Season Tickets for another 10 months of pain and misery playing second fiddle to Scotland’s Most Successful Club.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement.

There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same. More than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying the ongoing successes of Celtic.

With all the desperate sevco 2012 supporters giddy at this looming takeover

Does the leaking of the deal not weaken the hand of every existing shareholder.
You would have to think the pressure from the hordes for the current owners is going to be intense .
What’s to stop the new peepil from lowering their price their offering for the shares .

If I were the prospective buyers I would hang on a month and watch the hordes do their stuff .

It will be interesting to see which current shareholders remain if and when the deal is forced through

Heard Ibrox is to be renamed ” Bellend Road. Bit of a liberty there.

Even if he buys the holding company but he can’t buy their 13 year history.

Watching Aussy Gold Diggers on the telly, there are plenty of highs to be got in the trade. But there are plenty of pitfalls as well!
