TNT viewers witnessed the furious reaction of Danilo after Barry Ferguson told the Brazilian ace to stick his trackie back on.
The £40,000 a week former Feyenoord ace has started just seven matches this season, back in August Phil Clement explained that Danilo walks with a limp after fans became concerned over a video clip.
Cyriel Dessers started last night’s defeat from Fenerbahce but was replaced by Hamza Igamane in the 68th minute, Ridvan Yilmaz,Tom Lawrence and Ianis Hagi were also sent on as Danilo waited his turn.
At the break in extra-time it looked like Vaclav Cerny was coming off, Danilo stepped up his warm-up but when the on-loan Wolfsburg winger decided to stay on the park Danilo didn’t react very well.

The Brazilian forward looked as if he was going to come on at the break in extra-time with Vaclav Cerny going to be brought off by Barry Ferguson.
However, it appears the decision was reversed after Danilo was stripped and ready with Cerny playing on.
TNT Sports commentator Rory Hamilton admitted he was surprised to see Cerny play on after Danilo looked ready to be introduced to the action.
The striker instead returned to the bench as Ferguson did not make any changes for the final 15 minutes of regulation time.
A short replay of Danilo on the bench then showed the Brazilian striker letting out his frustration.
The clip showed Danilo standing in the dugout before turning and punching his seat as he let out his anger over the sub situation.
In 2016 Ferguson famously explained his routine ahead of matches against Celtic to Daily Record readers:
Look, I know this sounds crazy. It probably is. But I’d jab my fist into those tiles as if I was ready for a fight with the whole toilet wall. It was nothing too bad. I wasn’t trying to smash the place up or anything like that.
I just needed to feel a bit of pain to sharpen up my senses. To get me focused on what I was about to walk into.
Sometimes, I’d ask the toilet door for a square go too before sticking my head on it. Again, I was looking for that little edge just to get me fully pumped up for what lay ahead.
Then I’d give myself a dig in the ribs and bite down on the inside of my bottom lip until it started to bleed just a little bit. I wasn’t taking chunks out of myself or anything like that. I just needed to give myself that extra jolt. To really feel that big-game buzz.
It seems that Danilo has decided to copy the preparations of his boss, the Brazilian ace has a contract running until May 2028.

I once played competition water polo with an outstanding footballer who later
was capped for his country many times. Before his football team ran onto the field the coach introduced a method to fire-up the players. They were asked to pair-up and slap each other repeatedly in the face.
This went on for a fair number of games, then stopped. I won’t disclose the stats. It will spoil the story.
I suggest Barry tries this. First, he should give a demo by pairing-up with Danilo.
