More than three days on from the Glasgow Derby and the SFA have yet to pass any comment on the match.
Nothing on a player spraying opposing fans with the content of a water bottle, nothing on 2,000 plus fans singing the banned song The Billy Boys or the abysmal performances of Steven McLean and John Beaton.
Anyone with any knowledge of Scottish refereeing won’t be surprised by the latter two, they were appointed to produce exactly the type of performances that have been the hallmarks of their career’s.
McLean’s brother Brian was a failed Murray Park starlet, Beaton enjoys the traditional entertainment on offer at the Crown Bar in Bellshill.
With the match tied at 2-2 Barry Ferguson sent on Tom Lawrence and Hamza Igamane to provide fresh energy into the fouling being overlooked by McLean and ignored by Beaton.
The image below was from an incident in the final 10 minutes, Sky Sports and BBC Scotland both decided not to highlight it.

Last March Beaton was all over a high foot from Yang, urging Don Robertson into a pitchside review that resulted in a yellow card being upgraded to red.
This time the man from the Crown Bar decided against taking action.
Despite the expanded format of the Champions League no Scottish referees have been involved in this season’s competition, Beaton and McLean watched the 2024 European Championships on telly as UEFA brought in officials from Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Argentina and Sweden ahead of the best that the SFA can offer up.
Ian Maxwell and the SFA blazers are currently out in Athens enjoying another jolly ahead of the Nations League play-off against Greece.
What ticket allocation should away fans get to the Glasgow Derby?
None- the only option

700- token only

2,400- Sunday was great

Wee Coco the klown at ibrox noise seems to think there will be loadsamoney Harry Enfield style come the Summer for new players to be brought in.
Every club in the top division will be doing the same in bringing in new players, wee Coco thinks his klub are only one doing this, the other clubs are for real, his are FAKE.
Step up Rodgers is the answer. They play 5 in centre Midfield We play 2 and 1 in
deep role..
They are full of hatred aggression protected by. Var supporters.
Rodger’s tactics are old hat. Playing 5 a side football across our goal line. Absolutely nonsense. And Clearly not working.
Someone should front him instead of pandering towards him.
He certainly has massive job on his hands. Big recruitment required.
Great post Edward !
But while he (Brendan) has given us party after party after party and I truly thank him for it he is a fair bit pig headed in embracing change…
Try the same old tired tactics at Liebrox after the split and it could easily be 4 or 5-0…
That would force his fuckin hand for sure !
Once more the silence from our board is typical of the spineless wonders, Celtic players getting kicked all over the park ,refs do nothing,Huns get tackled fairly stop the game award a foul and possible card for the Celtic player, fans get sprayed by water from some baldy thug our board are schtum, that 5 way agreement has got some answering to do as well as Pete liewell.
Exactly why I’m so fuckin glad that I don’t pay cash to Celtic through a turnstile nowadays…
I still buy merchandise though !
This will never change so it is pointless focussing on referees or football authorities who have a long history of blind eyes and deaf ears. Our players are the ones who can stop it by growing a pair. A few retaliatory tackles will instantly discourage these morons. Lennon, Mjalby, Jozo,Thompson, Broony and a myriad of others would never have let them get away with it. Even in the days of Greig Jardine etc we had wee Bertie, Big Tam, Bobby Murdoch. So I have no interest in post match highlights of tackles and an expectation that we will get anywhere with
And our Club said…?
Further proof that the Board is not fit for purpose.
Editor: I understand that a statement will be issued after the Alan Muir statement, it could be a long wait however…
I won’t hold my breath Editor…Cheers.
VAR needs binned until such times as we have proper version of VAR and competent officials to operate it.
It’s Scotland Stevie – So expect such time to be The Twelfth of fuckin NEVER !!!
There is a better chance of a rocking horse doing a shite in the middle of George Square and also seeing Lord Lucan ride Shergar around Epsom Downs than our board coming out and making any statements.
Does that mean that Nicholson’s wife / girlfriend / Civil Partner is called Shergar then Joker !!!
I brought this up at the time.
Can you just imagine had this been the othe way around? The outcry? The DEMAND by SFA president, (oops, sorry,) “the rangers chairman, Patrick Stewart, for yet ANOTHER closed door meeting? Do you think for one second the response would have been any different to the bending over response given after the League Cup Final?
Do you think it would have taken a second longer than the 48 hrs that one took, unlike the ten days the PUBLIC response Celtic had to wait for when both blatant “honest mistakes” were committed against Daizen Maeda? One being wiped out in the box by McCrorie, and the other the even more blatant disgraceful goal disallowed against Hibs recently.
TEN DAYS TO ADMIT BOTH………PUBLICLY.
Unlike the closed door meeting with Collum’s EBT controller!
