Vaclav Cerny could face an SFA charge for his attack on Celtic supporters towards the end of Sunday’s Glasgow Derby.
The claim comes from the Daily Record, not the most reliable of sources.
Cerny ran along the track in front of the Main Stand spraying the content of a water bottle at home supporters.
Bringing the game into disrepute covers a variety of possibilities, it is unclear if the Five Way Agreement of 2012, unread by the then Celtic CEO will provide immunity from any punishment.
On Monday night the Record claimed:
Record Sport understands it’s unlikely further action will be taken against Celtic or Rangers for the fans’ actions.
But Cerny could face the beaks for getting involved with supporters under the SFA rules – and could cop a ban of anything from two to eight games.
Hampden chiefs are under pressure from Police to make sure players don’t get involved with punters in the white hot Old Firm environment.
A Police Scotland statement said: “Officers received information and enquiries are ongoing.”
A warning about future conduct is the likely outcome from Ian Maxwell and the spineless SFA who appointed Steven McLean and John Beaton to take charge of Sunday’s match. At a push there will be a two match suspension reduced to one on appeal.
Despite UEFA banning The Billy Boys in 2006 it is a regular feature of the matchday experience at venues across Scottish football.
Despite the widespread damage to seating in the visitors section, the singing of The Billy Boys and the use of Pyro, all against the Stadium regulations, Celtic CEO Michael Nicholson has yet to comment on Sunday’s events.
Nicholson was the driving force behind bringing away fans back to the fixture and signed Celtic up to the Sydney Super Cup in 2022 with their city business partners.

What ticket allocation should away fans get to the Glasgow Derby?
None- the only option

700- token only

2,400- Sunday was great

A two match suspension reduced to one on appeal, suspended until the start of next season when cerny will be back at his parent club, it’s all so predictable
If it gets to Court…Nimmo Smith will be presiding…Feckin’ certainty.
Would be good if Video Celts could source a picture of the damage to the visitors end and use it below the headlines when there is a subject about Sevco fans and their misbehaviour…
Which iof course will be quite fuckin often !
Editor: Sorted that.
To think the crazies over the road get all upset about a player celebrating a goal in the middle of the park and yet have a laugh at a player actually spraying water on fans in celebration of the same thing….tell u what, if that had been Broony at the hunderdome, they absolutely wud have rioted…no question about it.
Just all a laugh with ‘ Hilarious ‘ headlines and McCoist calling for a Cerny knighthood etc .
If it was one of our players that done that
The Record and The Sun would be running stories with orcs saying their kids got soaked and are too scared to back to a game
Nothing will come of this ,we are still waiting on prosecution for our physio being scarred for life …the SFA n the fkin polis would have loved yesterday, putting them Tim’s in their place ,plenty of funny handshakes ,n thumbs being pressed …. sterling will escape censure, and cerny, token ban ,one game ,second suspended, and the fkin police will be circle wanking as they kettled the GB yet let load of the onion bears walk in masked up n carrying pyro…. yesterday was evident of how our fan base are treated compared to theirs …half the police on duty got red hand of Ulster tattoos ffs
The arsehole is conveniently on international duty allowing the passage of time to let this slip out of view and him to escape justice.
