Celtic made a sheepish return to X/Twitter today with a podcast involving Adam Idah and Saoirse Noonan which is little more than another plug to sell the latest Irish themed kit from Adidas.
Clearly the podcast was due for release on March 17 but after the events of Sunday it seems that the club put their relentless commercial quest on pause.
During Sunday’s match Michael Nicholson’s special guests inflicted their full repertoire of anti-Irish songs led by The Billy Boys without any comment of action from Celtic or Police Scotland.
While that was going on a large number of fans in The Green Brigade were kettled on London Road, missing the match with traffic chaos in the surrounding area.
The mantra of being ‘More Than A Club’ wears thin when events like that are run together, across social media there is little in the way of goodwill towards the club from supporters.
?? Adam Idah & Saoirse Noonan join the Official Celtic FC Podcast to talk all things Celtic, Ireland & their journeys so far! ??

Celtic did release a four line statement at 6pm on Monday which was low on specifics with the club ‘reviewing concerns’ and ‘looking into these issues’.
A follow up statement with details of actions is eagerly anticipated, in the current climate Celtic’s social media content is likely to be met with widespread hostility.

Happy to play the Irish card when you have £90 t-shirts to sell, read the room

No one cares about a nonsense podcast to advertise your £90 4th kit that will never be worn by the first team
Sunday’s events must be addressed properly

No happy St Patrick’s day message…….. disgraceful
— Kevin Patrick? (@KevinPatrick_19) March 18, 2025
Seriously poor form not wishing the Irish diaspora a happy St Patrick’s day yesterday. Club getting so far out of touch from the fans.

Can you continue shutting the fuck up, please?

What ticket allocation should away fans get to the Glasgow Derby?
None- the only option

700- token only

2,400- Sunday was great

Lawyer Nicholson can claim to ‘want the club to be world class in everything it does’,
so start with improving Customer Service?
Just a random suggestion for a retail-driven business… 🙁
Think of the SFA’s agony. It must be an 8 game ban for Cerny which means he will never play for Sevco again but they don’t have the cajones even with the police involved. The media are trying to make it “a bit of a laugh” but the self discipline of the victims stopped it from being a much bigger incident.
You also have to consider Cerny drinking from the bottle and then skooshing the water at it the fans directions faces with god knows what germs were in it.
Have Sevco condemned the action yet?
Sevco condemn the action yet Charlie…
The Twelfth of Never that’ll be the day that happens !
The no mark with the water bottle is a lucky boy, none of the bhoys in the main stand didnt get a hold of him.
That klub from top to bottom, has no class.Serial losers, absolute scum.
Cerny has conveniently f***** off on international duty giving Nicholson and the board, the SFA and the cops time to let it die down. We shouldn’t let it and give full support to the people who were assaulted by the animal.
The thing about the Cerny incident is that he felt compelled to throw something over our supporters.
Is this any different from their fans feeling compelled to throw things from the stands .
There is a worrying list of this behaviour from sevco players acting unprofessionaly and their fans acting like thugs .
None of which to my knowledge has been condemned by sevco 2012 as a club .
IMO the poison is being condoned by the peepil running that club
Only difference is he had a blue top on and not a green one!
Two St.Patricks Weekend losers then in Idah and Noonsn…
Even The Celtic Women lost 3-1…
And to The Hunnetts of the East as well –
What a fuckin weekend it has been for The Calvinistic Bastards of Scotland !
Lawwell, Nicholson and the rest of the parasites on the board can fuck off.
They arseholes think the club belongs to them. The fans are just cash cows to these bastards.
Ted’s finished he needs go,his football skills and theories are out of date, him and Mourinho are finished.
Myself and other on here destroyed and laughed our heads off at sevco managers in the past that had not been good enough to stand the test of time against whatever manager we had,be that Ted first or second time round or big Ange.
Now we have just been skleped by a dud that has managed a couple of nickel&dime teams from divisions way below what we play in the games a bogey for Ted he should be tattie byes come end of May.
Might as well just bring in the Petershill manager or some duffer like that, because Ferguson believe it or not and laugh all you want, but to quote him from his previously written article in the daily sevco,Gio might not have a certain Celtic manager sussed, but the guy that can’t count to 10 certainly has.
Talk is cheap…and the Board know it…They don’t give a damn about keyboard warriors…They know that the Faithful through and through supporters will keep them in their exalted positions…Nothing will change…and they know it.
Why on earth have you not given your summary on the game. You deflect it to others opinion. You were an absolute embarrassment on Trinity tims blaming ref’s and the Police.
Deal with matters on the park.
