Celtic are just three points away from clinching the SPFL Premiership title for the fourth season running following today’s 5-1 victory over Kilmarnock.
Despite having the champions-elect tag there has been plenty of criticism of the squad ever since they lost 1-0 away to St Johnstone.
Inside a 13 point lead with six matches to go the hoops had lost two of their last three matches, six in total in 2025 after going through 2024 with just two defeats.
Brendan Rodgers was one of the fiercest critics, he made four changes to the side that lost last week, getting the mentality and performance that he had demanded.
Four goals in the first half hour set the tone today with Reo Hatate striking a double alongside goals from Daizen Maeda and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
? “That’s the way to answer the critics”
? “Curly-toed it a little bit”

McGregor is on course for his 10th title win, that could be confirmed by lunchtime tomorrow if Barry Ferguson’s side lose away to Aberdeen.
Next week the focus switches to the Scottish Cup with a semi-final against St Johnstone at Hampden, after that there are five post-split fixtures with details to be released next week.
Greg Taylor was the stadium Man of the Match but declined to collect that award in front of the Sky Sports cameras after the match.

Answered the critics first half. Pretty bland second half, many round about me left early
Dan , agree totally,Ange said he would not tolerate players puting in half a shift ,football is expensive as it is without players ye walking about the park when the game is put to bed, fuming.
Still lol at wee comical Ali Trump McMoist and him spitting blood at the proper decision to send off Propper the other night.
Every other pundit on TNT to Talksport called it out as a sending off even wee Benny Ferguson himself said it,but still we have the village ALKIE missing a BOOZE JOCKEY slabbering over his bottle of Buckfsdt while supposedly being neutral on the sevco game acting like a mad JAKEBALL in the street because the corect decision was made against his favourite team.
Thas lisp he has got is a belter,he must have got that out of Tam Shepherd’s trick shop before shutdown.
Can you imagine him asking for a packet of salt &vinegar with his kerryoot.
Great performance and result – Happy Happy with that
