The most persistent fixture rumour has Celtic travelling to Aberdeen on April 26 looking for the point required to clinch #title55.

St Mirren booked their place in the top six just before 5pm on Saturday, only sixth place was up for debate going into Matchday 33 which should have made things fairly straightforward for the SPFL fixture planners.

Celtic were always going to be at home to Hibs and the club in sixth place alongside trips to Pittodrie, Ibrox and Tannadice.

There are four weekend fixtures and one midweek card to be accommodated with the Scottish Cup semi-finals providing some breathing space before the SPFL resumes.

UPDATE: CONFIRMED FIXTURES

Talks will have been going on with all clubs over the likely fixtures, on the weekend of April 26 and 27 host clubs need to know the demands on their staff.

Pittodrie or Tannadice seem certain to host Celtic on April 26, at Celtic Park every available lounge will be opened up in the expectation of holding a post match title party.

Pubs across the city will be expecting a busy day with Sky Sports certain to show Match 34 at 12.30 to give them every chance of capturing the title winning moment live.

St Mirren or Hibs will visit Celtic Park on Matchday 38, or Presentation Day as it is better known with the celebrations for the Champions expected to last all through the weekend regardless of what plans Glasgow City Council have.

The Trinity Tims will be on live tonight at 6pm.

I think we’ll be at home on the final weekend for the trophy presentation so I think we’ll be away for the first two post split fixtures then home, away, and finish at home.

What ******* idiots start these rumours, and fan sites shouldn’t publish them until they’ve been confirmed. I had a phone call asking if we were running a bus to Aberdeen.
