Ewan Cameron put on a show of proud defiance on the back of his worst 48 hours of the season.
There haven’t been many highlights for the radio celebrity to enjoy but season ending defeats for his two clubs within 48 hours must be difficult to take.
On Thursday night in Bilbao it was a less than staunch surrender from Team No 1 as they meekly tumbled out of the Europa Cup to Athletic.
At Hampden 10 brave Jambos almost took it to a penalty shoot out but being reduced to nine made the pain of a Palestinian striker scoring a late winner all the more difficult to accept.
Now there is the nightmare scenario or Celtic possibly celebrating a treble while Hearts battle against a relegation Play Off, over at Ibrox there are five friendlies to complete for the Barry Revolution!
Hearts were outstanding. I can’t complain about the effort the boys put in.
Red card in the 1st half was correct even though I had initial doubts but after seeing replays it was a sending off.
Proud of the team today.#ScottishCup #Hearts https://t.co/EcSUfLmL1p

Three successive weekends without a win have gathered the storm clouds over Tynecastle with doubts over whether Neil Critchley will survive the summer.
To be fair inheriting the shambles created by Steven Naismith was always going to be a tough gig.
Had Hearts won at home to Dundee United a fortnight ago they would have booked a place in the top six, a draw last Saturday away to Motherwell confirmed their bottom six status. Six points ahead of second bottom Dundee who visit Tynecastle on Saturday.
At Hampden Lawrence Shankland scored his fifth goal of the season but it wasn’t to be his day, Aberdeen will return to Hampden next month while Cameron waits on managerial change at both clubs, and the hope that this time next year James Tavernier adds to his medal count of three.
He will be out

Did I praise him?

Nothing to do with Hibs winning. It’s football. It happens. It’s Muir’s record of diabolical decisions against Celtic.
Wee teams will win occasionally. I mean, even your latent team beat Celtic at the start of the year.— Schrodinger’s Cat (@trebletrebleye1) February 22, 2025

Fat Hun Bastard! Same PISH every Season..Irrelevant Clown!!
Never heard of Him – But If He’s a Scumbo / Sevco Loyalist then his pain is… BEAUTIFUL !!!!
Celts in the Cup Final. 3 strikes and out, for the Jambobear.
Hail Hail.
The Forrest penalty incident was bizarre as he was definitely hit in the face. Is it because he was wearing a Celtic jersey it didn’t count?
This is how stupid these people are as Celtic had already won the game and no one was disputing the penalty, They don’t realise their best bet is to give Celtic penalties when it doesn’t matter so they appear fair in the long run.
