Chris Sutton sent his Sky Sports colleague Kris Boyd viral with a retweet.
The former Kilmarnock striker spent Saturday avoiding Scottish football but his extensive archive provides a feast of treats for a Twitter account such as Lint.
As well as keeping a brilliant record of dubious refereeing decisions to highlight double standards Lint has carefully saved some of the daftest comments made by the heavyweight pundits that operate in the Scottish media bubble.
In April 2024 with the League Cup tucked away Boyd was anticipating a treble success for Phil Clement- then Celtic turned up at Ibrox and drew 3-3.
The Clement Revolution imploded, they lost on matchday 36 at Celtic Park which left them requiring snookers.
Boyd opted to clutch at straws, when he banged on about ‘this club is about winning titles and trophies’ Sutton provided an update followed by the phrase ‘give it a year’.
Eleven months later Boyd has humble pie on the menu and four more matchdays to endure as his former team-mate Barry Ferguson stumbles through until the end of the season.

The original tweet, from the day after Celtic surpassed the trophy count of both Ibrox clubs.

“Not in recent times”Kris Boyd:
“Still won the most”Sutton:
“Give it a year”— Lint (@Zeshankenzo) December 16, 2024
Boyd should be side by side with Sutton next Sunday, enduring the final Glasgow Derby of the season as the champions visit Ibrox.
The clip above went live with Celtic sitting on 116 trophies, that figure has risen to 120 with only Aberdeen able to prevent the hoops reaching 121 before the season ends.
Boyd’s only hope is the summer Revolution coming in from the San Francisco 49ers… oh wait…
I hate saying I was right but… https://t.co/1ONNvFZrZD
