Celtic go into the five post split SPFL Premiership fixtures with a 15 point lead at the top of the table boosted by a 42 goal cushion in terms of goal difference.
On Saturday the champions-elect hammered Kilmarnock 5-1 at home, this afternoon Barry Ferguson’s side dropped two more points when they drew 2-2 away to Aberdeen.
It took a goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time from Ianis Hagi to snatch a draw, had Aberdeen held on to win the match the SPFL title would be over.
Yesterday St Mirren ensured their place in the top six with the SPFL set to announce five rounds of fixtures in the next couple of days.
Celtic will have home matches against St Mirren and Hibs alongside trips to Pittodrie, Ibrox and Tannadice.
An educated guess would suggest that Celtic will have home matches on Matchday 34 and 38 which will allow Sky Sports to cover the likely title clincher on April 26 then finish up with the trophy presentation on May 17.
A draw at home will be enough to clinch the title but after losing at St Johnstone last Sunday Brendan Rodgers has made it very clear what he expects of his squad.
It will be title win number 10 for Callum McGregor, number 13 for James Forrest and Celtic’s 13th title win over the last 14 seasons.
Winning the title will give Celtic a place in the Play Off stage of the Champions League on August 19/20 and 26/27.
There appears to be a 50-50 chance that Celtic will be seeded in the Play Off but it will depend on which teams win the title in countries like Switzerland, Croatia, Turkey, Austria and Bulgaria.

I was possibly the only Celtic supporter that was happy at that equaliser as it potentially means we won’t be winning it sitting in the house !
