After Celtic clinched the SPFL Premiership title with a 5-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice Brendan Rodgers told Sky Sports that he had never been happier.
The Irishman is two years into a three year deal with Ally McCoist and others hoping that he will be on the move back to England.
Recently Rodgers recently stated that he was 150% certain to be around for next season, on the pitch at Tannadice today he upgraded that to 200%!
Chris Sutton, Jackie McNamara and James McFadden interviewed Rodgers on the pitch when he made his declaration.
“What I can say without any avoidance of doubt, is that I will be here next year – 200%… I’ve never been happier here.”

Celtic drew 0-0 at Tannadice in December, today they delivered the title with an emphatic 5-0 victory, the same scoreline that clinched his three previous SPFL titles.
Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah both scored doubles after an own goal from Ryan Strain opened the scoring on the half hour.
There was one downside to the afternoon, late in the first half Jota had to go off with what appeared to be a serious leg injury but he did return, on crutches, for the celebration pictures after the final whistle.
