Connor Barron was thrown in front of the RTV cameras to dish out the excuses following the 2-0 home defeat from Hibs.
It was another 3 out of 10 performance from the midfielder who teamed up with Nicky Raskin and Mohamed Diomande as the loyal bears watched their fifth successive home defeat.
Throughout football it is a long established tradition that after a bad defeat, especially at home that the club captain fronts up, faces the media to rally the support.
Once again Tav was posted missing.
The Hall of Famer, the long term skipper, the highest ever goalscoring defender. The serial loser.

Something strange happened at the start of this season as the bi-annual attempt to sell Tav to any club in Saudi Arabia fell through.
It was two months before the former Wigan ace faced the cameras, telling loyal bears how much he cares for the club and how there is a winning mentality in the dressing room.
Jack Butland happily stepped up for media duties, the former Crystal Palace reserve loves talking about himself but after two howlers against Hibs Butland was lying low.
On Wednesday UEFA insist on a player being made available to the media to preview their quarter-final tie with Athletic Bilbao, from this distance Leon Balogun or Robin Propper, both who missed out yesterday being presented with the scripted excuses.
At the start of next season Tavernier will get his Testimonial match, full details have still to be revealed but it is expected to involve a reunion of the 2016 Petrofac Cup winners including legends like Jason Holt, Andy Halliday, Wes Foderingham, Lee Wallace, Dom Ball and Micky O’Halloran.

Jack Butland’s effusive praises for Phil Clement and lately Bazza, would not have been liked by
the smarter team members. Did Jack also hide after the match? When they win, Jack’s like a stallion.
Barry’s open body language of disgust at his players, shows he is not a Manager’s bootlace.
I hope he gets a long Contract, like Philippe got. Why on earth did Sevco Fans, sack a “Proper Football Manager”.
Wee Barron has a boat which has worn out 5 bodies ..already ! A bit of an omen for a young 20 something
